The version used in the cartoon appears to be a cover; it uses different instruments and stuff. But, anyone who has seen the original Benny Hill slapstick chase routines will get the in-joke. And those that don't can still enjoy the slapstick. It's a good homage, IMO.

Y'know, I sort of feel like this whole scene would have been a lot better if they had just used this version of the music. The twenty-somethings on the Internet would have found it even funnier, and it's not like the kids the show is aimed at would have suffered any great loss. In fact, they would have heard a fairly cultural piece of music.

@emmeeemm Even though I agree with you,I'm pretty sure you know how these things concerning songs/music work.

Hasbro would have to pay for the rights of this music and it would be too much of a hassle and all that jazz....Doing a cover for the music was actually a good idea...I mean,a lot of us still managed to recognize it anyway.
