That's James Horner himself playing the piano.

What happened was that one day Horner sent a piano record to James Cameron named "Sketch". Cameron thought "hey, it really fits the scene when he draws her" and decided to use the music thinking it was composed for that scene. But actually Horner named the song "Sketch" because it was just a sketch for a theme he was supposed to orchestrate, he freaked out when Cameron decided to use the "sketch" in the way it was in the early piano record lol

@Natethegreat223 I think this is the original version that was used (at least some parts of it) in the movie and it's composer is James Horner..later on Will Jennings wrote a lyrics for it and Celine Dion sang it...so you really can't say this is an instrumental of Dion's one...
