No in china its like this, im chinese but im living in USA. I Experience american culture and i can tell how american School are very Soft on the childrens, but in china you dont even dare to talk crap about teacher, you better respect teachers, in china if you dont want to learn then you might as well dont go to school because school in china is not Playground, dicipline is the key to learning success, look at how Wild and Crazy American students are in school. im not racist but its true
@q1ax The system isn't designed for learning, but for dealing with large groups of children efficiently by minimizing the chaos. The added bonus for China is that it makes a perfect starting point for political indoctrination.
Comparing to American schools, it really depends on where you go, much as it does in China, how chaotic things are, but I am quite certain the average American high school graduate is at least as smart as the average Chinese graduate (except maybe in math).

That teacher must be shot for traumatizing those poor girls. Then again, she does follow Prussian disciplinary thought to the bone.
