Of course, if we sin personally this can affect US in a personal way as well. The bible says if we commit fornication then we sin against our own bodies, meaning the more and more a person commits sexual sins, the more and more they decrease their capacity for pleasure and enjoyment of the act.

God currently allows pain and suffering so that sin and its effects will be exposed for what it really is. SIN, though pleasurable for a season, always brings misery, sadness, disease, and pain. IT IS PARAMOUNT that God let all the holy angels and faithful mankind see for itself what happens when sin is allowed to to reign in God's creation. He will put an utter end to sin, where it will never come back again, and this is the only way He can rid Himself of it once and for all.

So when a tsunami kills babies and their mothers it was because the baby's sin? The mother's sin? Or if it was someone else (satan?) then God allowed the baby to die because of something someone else did? The baby died because of satan? That is what it sounds like you are saying.

SIN in general is tearing apart the fabric of God's creation. It is an intruder into God's creation that is responsible for babies born with disease, tsunamis that wipe out populations, famine, etc. Before Satan introduced sin into God's Heaven, do you think there was death, disease, and murder? Adam didn't begin to die physically in Eden until the day he sinned. God allows it for a time, because He must expose it for what it really is, THEN He will wipe every tear and sin will be no more.
