  • Zora's Sapphire @ 2:55

  • How on earth did it just carve out that hexagonal shape??

  • Me Gusta

  • how much is it taking of per pass?

  • best

  • whot i do fore living

  • Thats soo cool. How do you get into this industry?

  • @chrisolava112066 kill chuck norris

  • @chrisolava112066 Study Mechanical engineering

  • @thesheepsaidbaaaaaah No, manufacturing engineering.

  • These things are so sick. This would take me hours on a lathe. I want one!

  • @khssoccerkid u got 1000000 us dollars?

  • @khssoccerkid SO DO I !!!

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Emco.. stupid autofill

  • Is that an encode 365? Great machine

  • fuck these things blow my mind

  • All my money! Take it!

  • ...sit and watch...

  • dude, you could charge $10 a pop for people to site and watch that!

  • How difficult is it too work one of these machines I'm going too apply for a job where I will have too use one and would like too know if it's hard or cake or what, please reply some1 thanks in advance

  • @DrezsD21 It's recommended you get a degree in mechanical engineering.

  • @Liist lol wtf no it isnt

  • @DrezsD21 na man it isnt. Just approach some of your local ones that are hiring and see if you can get a job deburring or laboring. From there express interest in learning how to use them, then get an apprenticeship. Thats how my dad went about it, and Ive been offered one too.

  • @dblac74 thanks for the insight cause i literally live a block away from a industrial plant that does metal work and has cnc machines my friend put in a good word for me and i didnt want to go and bite off more than i can chew by starting something i couldnt finish, again thanks i will not be as nervous now

  • @DrezsD21 No worries mate. Good luck!

  • @DrezsD21 There are certain things very necessary to run a machine to this degree; you must be able to understand the g-code language. Being bale to understand proper carbide tooling is also very important, feeds and speeds/ chip load per tooth.

Im currently in college for manufacturing technology. The course is 2 years and I'd highly recommend it. The course takes you through machinist math, gdt, solid modeling (solidworks), manual machining, mastercam, g-code cnc programming.

  • @drunkinmaster1 so i should go and take some classes on it before jumping in and i had planned on working under someone before i can fully work this machine alone huh?

  • @DrezsD21 Allot of manufacturing owners like to limit the amount of knowledge their employees have so they can have more control over your pay-scale and freedom. The more knowledge that you have gives you the freedom from becoming a "button pusher" or puppet in the industry. Im sure theres good companies out there who encourage and train their employees to advance, but some like Boeing dont like you to have too much control and everything is on a need to know basis.

  • So to sum it up, I would definitely recommend taking classes from an instructor or professor that makes you aim high in the industry and not become a robot. Our professor has worked in the industry and has his own business. He really kicks our ass with exams but it is so worth it because he wants us to have more options. I may not be an engineer, but the skills and knowledge that Im learning with design and fabrication of various materials will make me very involved.

  • i worked on an emco 365 today. not this elaborate of a product, but still.

  • show final products next time

  • This is truly masturbation material for engineers.....

  • Not even google can find chuck Norris

  • I wish I could own one of these machines so bad.

  • that beautiful wish my shop had one

  • what, it ate it in the end !!

  • this is a cnc lathe, not a mill

  • 1:30 WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

  • @Rosineren true

  • thank u

  • this shit is down AF

  • I want one so bad.

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

  • this is PORN, and should be banned for eternity. Too sexy for geeks.

  • I am transfixed! whoa

  • YOu get paid $28 an hour for operating one of these awesome things.

  • what machine is this? this very cool....

  • good job man!

  • This is how Chuck Norris was born

  • @uservemewell this is how chuck norris cuts his nails

  • @uservemewell this is how chuck norris cuts his nails

  • @uservemewell I was thinking the same exact thing!!!!

  • I work with these machines, and i have messed up on parts lol BUT it's a cool machine to be running and watching what it does

  • yea!!! that hexagon cut deserve be filmed or watching on low motion

  • I have GOT to get me one of these!! -Will Smith

  • nice very precise

  • This is PORN for transformers !!!!

  • @BrandNewSongz hahahhah funny

  • @BrandNewSongz kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @BrandNewSongz vauuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • @BrandNewSongz Nah its pain olympics

  • An Emcoturn 365 made by Emco Maier GmbH in Hallein, Austria.

  • amazing machine, very nice work.

  • 3 people got their face cut by a CNC

  • omg it just cut angles into that thing!

  • what is that like .250 at a time?

  • Jaw droppingly cool to watch.

  • Ugh the precision and the cutting power is insane

  • i want 1

  • Haha I figured out the hex... If u pause it right at 1 21 u can see the but is just like any urge u would use on a lathe but obviously it rotates... But it rotates in the opposite direction of the part and the just synchronized the bit to the part to where it was only cutting when the part if at a certain angle... Hard to explain but if u just think of how that bit is hitting the part with them both spinning opposite directions u can figure it out

  • That...was...amazing. I work on CNC machines all day at my job and I have never once seen anything this cool.

  • What was the part it made for?

  • lol 0:46

  • wow, this machine is so insane! (the price will be too) so amazing.

  • <8O <------ me shitting myself in absolute amazement

  • wth is a cnc machine?!?!?!?

  • @saraahxhc computer navigated control, use programmed coordinates (G Codes or M Codes especially with fanuc controls) on axis; X,Y,Z,C. This is used on machining centers like lathes & mills.

  • @helicoptered

It's Computer Numerical Control not navigated.

  • @dabooge Yes sorry, I beg your pardon, silly me duh! It's been a few years since I worked on machining centers.. =)

  • @helicoptered it can also use u, v, and, w also some lathes use U and W i know for fact AMERICAN MACHINIST FOR LIFE!!!!!!!

  • @damion223 Lol, I think this is how you drill a hole on a cnc lathe, from what I can remember, although it could be wrong;

    %

    T0400 M42;

    G97 S1200 M03;

    G00 X0 Z0.2 T0404 M08;

    G74 X0 Z-10.0 K10.0 F.05;

    G00 Z2.0;

    G28 U0 W0;

    M01;

    %

  • @saraahxhc basicly what helicopter said but its a Computer Numeric Control or in simple terms a robot you control with G and M codes to make it do and make certain movements for example a G01 is a command to make a straight line movement you would state what axis you wanted to move in and it would do this when you start a program a simple program for drillin a hole on a CNC mill would be

    %

    M06 T01

    G00 G54 G90 Z0.1 M08

    X1.0 Y1.0

    G01 Z-.1 M03 F15.0

    G00 Z0.1 M09

    %

it aint perfect but close : )

  • Needs to be faster that's what I would say rapid it up like 50 to 100% then we'll talk

  • @disturbedqrp

With coolant flood it can be pushed harder without flood it heats the tools and doesn't make for a cool video when you can't see what's going on.

  • What is the thing being made here?

  • I just came in my hand watching this video. It's so damn naughty!

  • I wish I could do that with my finger nail.

  • i hope get one like this but hmmmm may be in my dream

  • Hi.. what brand is this machinr?

  • is it expensive to get certified for cnc machining>>>>>?????

  • @N1k3JuzDuzIt96 It depens on where you live. In Hungary it costs about 1.800$. In hungarian forint of course.

  • Where can i get certified for cnc machine, and how much do the courses cost???

  • WOW it can machine a hexagon at that speed? interesting

  • wow...

  • tool for making hexagon, nice 1:21

  • cool machine i want one lol

  • I have no idea how it cut the hexagons. NO IDEA!

  • I can only imagine the length of time it took to make the program for the cnc to follow..... not to mention all the different timings! WOW! AMAZING MACHINE!

  • That is slick. I want one. lol

  • what is it makin

  • its... beautiful

  • There is a factory near me advertising for jobs, is it a good thing to get into? Is learning CNC operation hard?

  • @jazpyy yeah sort of, 3 years for aerospace manufacturing, idk about other industries .

  • Wow no coolant on any of this...those inserts and blades are getting worn out like no other

  • @Kostik20 it's brass, not so much wear on the tools

  • wth... how can you make a hex on a lathe like that? Whats the name of the tool he uses?

  • I love serious technology like this doesn't matter if it's a car, a hifi system, or a machine tool. It's fascinating

  • this is mesmerizing

  • what do you call a normal non-CNC machine on english and what do you call this job in english?

  • dear r u belonging cnc family

  • @starexish the fuck does that mean

  • @StormProductionzZ u nonsence i means r u working already all cnc machines

  • @starexish english please

  • охеренно блинн!!!!! Мне бы на таком станке !

  • May I haz cnc?

  • Guess i was born to late

  • That machine costs somewhere near a quarter of a million dollars.

  • The third adjustment is SOOOO CUTE. it's all like "tink tink tink tink" awww.

  • @chief2001 don't you see? it's you they have been coming to see, all along.

  • because its nice and interesting

  • @chief2001 That's 'cause it clearly and concisely shows virtually every operation that makes a CNC machining center so damn cool! ; )

  • @roguestreak Bah, thought my comment hadn't posted first time! Hence the repeat...

  • @chief2001 'Cause it quickly and concisely shows virtually every operation that makes a CNC machining center so damn cool!

  • @chief2001 ; ar you working on this machine.

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • I WANT!!!!!

  • bricks were shat

  • nice

  • Jeez........... I spent the best 3 years of my life learning to use a lathe & milling machines.............. no need for apprentices these days eh!.

  • OK, Ive seen CNC, Ive worked on CNC, And Programmed CNC. My jaw went through the floor on how fast and amazing this machine is. OMG!!!

  • As a 5 star rating says, AWESOME!

  • Süperrrrrr

  • i worked on this with an lathe machine now they have all these advanced machines very niiice

  • Woah. That hexagon thing was niiiiiiiice :)

  • @SpecklePattern How did that hex tool work in this ap?? I've never seen a hex put on like that. The turret didnt even look like it moved, spindle spun, tool rotating, then a hex?? I always used a key cutter or e-mill and moved in the Y axis..

  • @keoki1978 Actually that thing seems pretty simple in idea. You can see the tool between 1:20-1:22 and it has only few blades in it. It is just a matter of matching the speeds of both the tool and the milling axis. Draw a hex and thin quadrate to paper and cut them out. You can figure out this out when you start rotating the papers having fixed axes for them :)

  • that was awesome i love cnc machines this 1 is 1 of the best iv seen

  • "I love tecnology"...Kip Dynamite

  • That is really neat

  • i might get one for the garage are they very expensive??

  • i bet..........they are atleast $75000 or less? more?

  • I dont really know the prices of one like this (this is a pretty good one considering it gives tons of options being able to hold objects both ends and have the ability to rotate tools in both ends aswell). My guess would be at least 100k euro. And thats placed cheap. I know where I work we have simpler machines, most bought a good handful of years back, but alot of em are up in the price range. Anyway, this isnt a garage tool'. Chance it it wont even fit in your garage unless its fairly big :P

  • I have a two car garage, I could put 4 of these in there.

  • works well

  • I just watched this vid in my manufacture process class on 2-1-10

  • Im going to learn to operate on soon.

  • when it cut the hexagons it was the most paranoid moment

  • @tolisdrums bet you think it was a first run of the program ;)

  • it's not so difficult like the most thinking

when you write the code, you can simulate the program and see what your code do

  • maybe search in google for "Sinutrain", you'll see how its works

  • mind = blown

  • its so beautiful!!.... i think im gonna cry :'(

  • wow it's like magic

  • Oh man, I wish I knew how to make a part with live tooling!

  • Wow! did dude write this free hand or is this a mastercam program?

     Great looking parts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Otroligt!!!

  • does he not take a little to much cuts in the beginning (i have no idea im on my second year in cnc school)

  • He was hogging off on those cut huh? I think if your back teeth don't rattle out during passes...your good. If it slings the part out at 1800rpm and you eat the part...you get a 10 min. break.

  • MMMMMMM brass one of the most fun materials to machine

  • @Dominykas14 nah... 316 stainless and titanium are both more fun HAHAHA

  • @Dominykas14 cast iron is better! jk shit is to gritty

  • you should all be grateful that you even have jobs let alone bitch about being a cnc machine operator [we`re in a reccesion u know]

  • Does this thing build itself?

  • manufacturedZ3R0 = Correct Through & through, if you like bitching and back stabbing aswell as a stress to fuck job become a CNC machinist, and work in engineering, If you have a soul though forget it. At least in a hospital if you drop down dead someone will slump you in a waiting room, instead of stepping over you to raid your tool box.

  • I educated myself to be a cnc operator, but after a while i noticed it wasn´t something i wanted to do.

There was too much theory, learning how to read the writings was tough, and that damn math.

If you think about educating yourself as a cnc operator, think about the theory before deciding anything.

This sure looks cool though, everything looks so smooth.

Im impressed by these machines and those who work with this, keep up the good job ppl.

  • Oh no. This reminds me of the 20 years i spent depressed as hell making things for things i had no interest in whatsoever. I did three years on nightshift at tghe end though which was nice. Sleeping in the stores for £16 an hour is a good thing. The moral of the story here though is do yourself a favour. DON'T TAKE UP ENGINEERING AS A TRADE. It's not interesting and factory politics combined with every boss i've ever met being an asshole makes for a miserable life.

  • Thats why you do this as a hobby, and sell lemonade for money! ha ha. I'd hate to make stuff for someone else. Unless I was the one gettin paid for the job!

  • Trust me. I know EXACTLY what you mean. The last three years of my stint doing it were spent on night shift. Which involved sleeping in the stores, using the ultra fast internet connection, raping the vending machine and if it got to cold sleeping in the car with the engine running. All for top money. Now that's where pressing the green button becomes fun :)

  • yeah, everytime my boss ask if i'm workin hard, i say no just workin long. try it for 12hrs a day

  • palow1 Believe mate, they scare the shit out of people when swarf flies off. This had NO suds! Must have been soft material unless they have tooling pieces to last forever? If you hear the dreaded squeel of jamming tool pieces and laugh at 10 or more machinist all run to their machine and turn round to see one on the floor crying. Egineers so cruel!

  • coolrod81 If you know Fanuc GE Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazak you could be in with a chance, if not then you're blocking a lot of machines out because the vast majority of them run off that. Why do you have the door open? SAFETY. thats what the door is for!

  • Guess that they havent seen one of the bits shatter and propell out of the machine before. So close the door. Or maybe just duck!!!

  • i thru a 12' part out of my chuck because my insert burnt up sooner than i expected. couldn't see that because the window on my machine is so fuckin caked over it's impossible to see inside. my leaderman asks me why i didn't have the door open to watch it cut.

  • How does one become qualified to operate that robotic god?

  • my mouth is wide open ride now....like....whoooaaa...

  • Those things are a joy to watch.

  • Not a joy to watch if you have to sit and watch one for 8 hours a day!!! Sure the pay is great but does get very boring. I am the only woman to have ever been given the postion where I work, and I work for a very large manufacting company. SO on the other hand I am very proud of myself, but still think that I should have been a nurse.
