That's a really tricky question, and a very practical answer. You basically said what I'd do. Pay off current debt. Give to charity. But instead of stocking up on food, I'd fix my car and take some courses for stuff I always wanted to do, like drawing.
That is a substantial sum of money outside California. I would put that down as a downpayment on a house. New houses can be had for $100,000 in the south. Because of the big downpayment, the monthly payment on $50k would be about $400-500 a month including taxes. In 5 years that $100k house could be sold for $125k to $150k.
I liked most of your answers though some I wouldn't do, because of different reasons, I wouldn't buy a years worth of food so I couldn't go out anymore, but other than that I liked your overall idea.
