I did try drinking 95% pure ethanol, just a little bit.... not fun.

I wanted to make joke, but seriously - I had bad experience with burning ethanol. Accidentally spill some amount of ethanol over my hands and legs and it catch fire. It is amazing how quickly it develop such high temperature with flame just barely visible. And it is very difficult to put such fire under control.

Fortunately only first degree burning on my hands.

The bottle had a shattering experience. The bottle was mad.....it just blew up. The teacher is on fire for his occupation. He's having a blast! The teacher will have flashbacks.

This is the so-called "whoosh bottle" experiment, where a small amount of alcohol (about 5ml) is ignited in the bottom of a 5gal water jug. However, non-idiotic teachers use a plastic jug, and use eye protection and safety shields to prevent injury. This guy was extremely lucky: if you look up this experiment on google, there are many reports of students suffering burns and cuts when similar accidents happened.

...It looks like a rather large amount of hydrogen, but I have never seen hydrogen burn like that. It also wouldn't fail to,light at first. Perhaps some gas (maybe a hydrocarbon, maybe not)+oxygen?
