  • @ComradePants it comes off quite easily actually and goes back on easier since it is stretched out but the net does leave a pattern on the helmet

  • retard you dont spray paint a ww2 or ww1 helmet!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @abrahamrubio789 There dirt cheap. not like its high dollar collectible.

  • @abrahamrubio789 This is an EAST GERMAN helmet probably made in the 70s or 80s. They are a dime a dozen.

  • @abrahamrubio789 It's cold war era dumbass

  • I got gyped!!!

Mine didn't come with a helmet cover.

It was just a grey helmet wrapped in paper.

  • the East German M56 / 71 helmets were also exported to other countries and used in combat in the war in Bosnia, also used by the Turks, the Syrians, the Egyptian army, armies in Africa, also seen in old photos being used by the North Vietnamese anti aircraft gun crews

  • these helmets were made in three shell sizes and the nets fit really tight on large shells, to make the net fit you must remove a few of the metal clips so the net can stretch over the shell easier, if you look inside you should see shell size marking and year of manufacture, I = size small II = size medium, III = size Large, the liner is universal one size fits all but the steel shells are different sizes.

  • cheaper than dirt sucks! out of 3 orders the effed them up 5 times (wrong stuff, wrong size, wrong price). sportsmans guide is better

  • @thurin84 ive never had any problems. ive bought the helmet, ammo, chest rigs, and all came quick and no problems.

  • There were several model liners sone made the helmet shell sit deeper on the wearer( as I also feel it should have) Which means more protection for the wearer.

  • The M56 East German helmet is overall the best Metal helmet ever designed and made. It is a mixture of Steel and Titanium. In East Germany in the Army and Police there was a debate as to how high the helmet should sit on the wearer. Many felt tghat it should have sat deeper, the Army Tech Command gave the excuse that the plastic Riverts should allow the helmet to fly off the wearer in the event of a Nuke Bomb detonation The shock effect was the justification for the high helmet liner.

  • That headgear was actually designed in ww2 as new Wehrmacht helmet.

  • I have a West German Air Defence helmet. I want one of these too!

  • I got one from cheaper that dirt too and yea the liner is tiny too so it sits high on top of my head i removed the foam pieces and the liner is easy to remove and re install the plastic pieces just clip onto little knobs i took mine out and messed with it and now it doesnt sit so high up on my head

  • Hey, I got the net on my helmet. You can see it in one of my new videos. Just soak the net in hot water and it'll stretch. Just make sure to dry everything to stave off rust!

  • would it be good for airsoft do you think? and if so does it fit all sizes ?

  • @blackredyellow1 Yeah, I've seen them used for airsoft but honestly you can use just about anything for airsoft since the bbs won't do anything to you anyway.

  • would it be good for airsoft do you think? and if so does it fit all sizes ?

  • would it be good for airsoft? and also does it fit all sizes?

  • Hey, I just got one of these as well. I can never get the net to fit. Any advice?

  • @ComradePants I had the same problem. i did get the net on it but it wouldnt stay so i was gonna take a string and run it around the outside of the net and tie it so it would stay. kinda hard to explain, maybe ill do a video on it.

  • @1stOPFOR I'd appreciate seeing it. I can guarantee there's not already a video on it!

  • @ComradePants Just keep stretching it. I was able to get the ned completely on and it stays on but it took a little while and my fingers ended up hurting quite badly for a couple days after :P

  • @CAHiredGun I did end up getting it on eventually, but it's never coming off! That shit's on tight! Thanks for the help, though. (Oh, and the pain on my fingers was indescribable. Worse than rotating the furniture on an AK gas tube by far, if you've ever had to do that.)

  • hehe, von der gten alten DDR X3

  • @TheCrooper *guten
