hey! this dance was so cool! it looked hard (hmmm now i'm thinking about jitterbug...that one looked hard too) you know i never realized how easy it was to make a reference to the WOO when someone says something about it...anyway how's it going???
btw is your school having a wizard of oz play this friday? my friend told me they were so we were thinking about going!
dude, they sing AWESOME!!! i've heard several of them sing individualy and you wouldn't believe how good they are!!! seriously, you should have heard them singing in the other plays!!!
sure they may have sounded great in oteher things, but this is like an octave off.
it might even be just a few people that are off, but those poeple are overpowering the good singers by a mile. notice how even when they start off with "goodbye" it sounds forced, almost like only a few poeple are singing, the audience should only hear one voice. (everyone in unision)
Way off key? They sound pretty good to me. I played the piano for this show and the singing was good. I also dont know what you mean by them being an octave off. Being an octave off wouldnt make you off key. You would just be singing the same note an octave higher or lower.
I may not be fully musical literate, but im not illiterate either. I know that this group sings flat, becuase I have been in the show. Thats why I look at these videos, to see how other schools have done them. But I still think that members of this group are an octave too high or too low, becuase it is apparent some are out of their voice range. Millie, however sounds pretty on point.
besides you have little kids who are in elementary school in this. Its amazing that they can keep their energy up, sing dance and act all at the same time without falling in the pit...

its the regular version but its a childrens theater. we did the world premire of Millie Jr. in 2007 for the junior theater festival
