Can I get your opinion on scalloped frets? I want to know what they're like so when i buy a guitar in the future, i'll know if i want one or not w/ scalloped.

Scalloped frets are great, but it is very different to learn to play. Because there is no resistance to the wood, bending is very free as well and vibrato.

But, you can't put too much pressure on the strings, or you will bend them out of tune.

Also, finding guitars with scalloped necks are next to impossible, other than the YJM fender.

I built my own, but had to take it to a luther as Warmoth cant really prep the neck until it is on the guitar.
