@MzaCrack its weird, when i was younger i hated blink and bc of that i never bothered to listen to punk bands and just listened to prog, metal and industrial type stuff. it was just a few years ago i started getting into punk and it wasnt until a couple months ago i started to appreciate blink182 and green days first album

the reason many of us don't like it, is because the lyrics sound really winey, and it's missing the feel of realpunk, blink 182, certainly isn't the worst of all of them though, shit like fall out boy, and yellowcard, and bullshit like that, is what I really hate. I still blink 182's Cheshire cat album, it's cool, but it's not punk. Just don't call it punk and I think most of us don't care that you listen to it.

Stza says in the Deadline inside cover that the chorus is very simple and poppy, but it gets the point across. He also says it was influenced by Morning Glory.

On another osng on the album (Genocidal Tendancies) he said that on the lyrics sheet he wrote for the chorus "sing like Jawbreaker" so he obvously enjoy's melodic music.

I enjoy LOC's heavy orchestral stuff like Clear Channel and Operation M.O.V.E. but i really like the deadline album as well.
