also try explaining what is going on included into ur teaching method. let everybody know what is what.  Ex. what key signature, time signature, intervals, proper tonality, name of notes on the neck in reference to the key signature for this song

try sweep picking the second part to the solo instead of alternate picking as well as cleaning up ur playing and lowering the gain.u got it now just clean it up and make it sound prettier. guaranteed trust me i have my masters degree in music and am almost done with my Doctorate degree (Phd).

i know fudge packer, i am too. it's sweeping. just because it's a slower arpeggio , doesn't mean that it's not a sweep. i realize that your a pussy who probably doesn't like decent music. or even metal at all. but go listen to the end of "no pitty for a coward" by suicide silence or "pray for plagues" by Bring Me The Horizon. it's SLOW SWEEPING it's the technique not the notes.

go learn basic music theory. arpeggio is a basic structural pattern of notes which most chords and leads are based on, sweep picking is just a style. and that style was used slowly in this solo.

Sweeping picking is for playing notes at a higher than normal level thats what its there for , theres no such thing as "Slow" sweep picking , and you cant really call it sweep picking when your picking about 3/2 notes on each strings while using alternative picking -.-'
