Would all you Obama people just think for one minute- what significant legislation did he author in his two years of experience? What has he done that makes you believe he can run our country? For that mater, what has Hillary done that leads you to believe she has all this "experience"? First lady? Wow, that's impressive experience.
I just watched Hilary Clinton, then i watched Obama on the Internet. I wish i was American so i could vote... Please put Obama into the white house so we can have a real leader on the global stage.... I think Hilary is too busy hoping and preying with no promises and guitars. They should learn from Conservative Party leadership election in the UK last year. Lesson learnt...

I'm an arizona native and we aren't going to be red for long, which is a good thing, since us native arizonans are liberals...it's the transplants from the midwest who live in sun city that make us red, but they are dying off and younger people are moving in....
Politics stinks for so many years with so many bad decisions. We need good, clean change! And it surely does give all of us a great opportunity to have Mr. Obama become the next leader for not just America but for what he can prove to the rest of the WOrld!
In an age of electronic media, we have a tremendous amount of power and resources to reach out. I've forwarded three video links -- one of Barack's speech at the Democratic convention, his victory speech in Iowa as well as his 'Yes We Can' speech in New Hampshire -- to all my friends and family and asked them to do the same.
Barack is covering as much physical ground as is humanly possible, let us stomp what ground remains.
I don't hate Hillary, but I don't think that she's the best person to lead this country. I believe that Barack Obama, with his sincerity, his vision, and his level head is that person.
Hillary has a huge boost in the polls because of the Clinton name, and yet is barely ahead of Obama overall. Barack needs all the support we can give to push him over the top! We all need to spread the word, and get out and vote in our primaries!
I agree! It cannot be stopped because I believe he represents something bigger than himself. He represents a new vision and era which is needed in this time of uncertainty!
Right on day one...I can't believe so many people fall for a clever turn of a phrase. No one gets it right all of the time...and for Obama to infer that he does just because of one speech he made..now that's dishonest!
Perhaps Hillary might make a good president, though I'm probably not well enough informed on the issues to pass judgement.
What I do know for certain though, is that her personality, the "vibe" she gives off, the way her attitude seems to convey utter contempt for her opponents, as though they aren't even worthy to be on the same stage as her; all these factors have turned me completely against her.
Hillary Clinton would be a huge step in the wrong direction for our country. Barack Obama has the charisma and honesty that she lacks, and he will become our next leader. It would be terrific if Richardson or Edwards sent an endorsement his way.
Even though she's capable and experienced enough, she can't, unlike Obama, motivate and galvanize this mass surge of people wanting to go out to vote to make a difference. Bill did that in the 90s, she just doesn't inspire enough.
America, you are fortunate to have a candidate like Obama. Countries around the world will fall over their feet to have someone like him elected in office. Leaders like this don't come around every term. People think they do, but that's because politicians are magicians who uses cheap tricks to deceive their audiences. This guy is a level headed, intelligent, sincere and very wise Wizard that uses truth as his magic wand. Use yours & vote for him!
both are national healthcare, both want tax cuts, both want economy stimulus plan, both want to end the war as soon as possible. The only difference is that Obama has not only taken these ideas from Hillary he is claiming that he is for change but in fact these are the exact same ideals that the Democratic Party has had for years at least Hillary is being honest and not lying to the American people just too pumped us up.
Hillary and Obama are both for national healthcare it's just that Hillary has been for national healthcare for over 15 years and Obama has jumped on the bandwagon for votes within the past two years
If Hillary were to beat Obama, so many people will feel so disheartened to go out and vote for the Democrats, it'll actually hurt the Dems, and the Republicans, with their already strong support, will be returned again to power (4 more years...). No doubt she's very capable, but the way she and Bill have been campaigning has shown they can't galvanize and motivate that tremendous surge and passion in people to go out and vote to make a difference; only Obama has achieved this.
Really i dont like obama becuase he plans to pull our troops out and thisis his exact word "by the end of 2008" but he wont evenbe vowed in yet. i dont like most of what hilary believes either but if i had to choose between the two id go hilary
How come on news stations that the polls have Hillary winning on Obama. I dont believe it, He is such a charismatic person, that such magnetism seem to attract people from all works of life.
Remember: Hillary has national recognition dating back 16 years. Many old school Democrats have been hoping for a third Clinton term since 2000. For many folks, Barack is still the new kid on the block. The more people pay attention to him, though, the more his support grows.
Obama is winning the people's vots, but Hillary has more super delegates. I hope the Democratic party listens to the people and allows the popular vote to carry.
I am German and i can tell you guys: doesn't matter whether its Obama or Hillary - as long as you get rid of those medieval morons like Bush and Romney everything is fine with most of my countrymen and me.
Noticed in this debate, Clinton at least twice referred to her gender as "change"... she just doesn't get it? She says she wants to run on her own merit and yet she constantly wants to take credit for husband's presidency.
i have 35 years experience ....experience in what....wouldnt a minded voter like to know what is she boastung about....ppl need to know the truth....sitting next to a president doesnt make u more experienced...wake up ppl
She never just sat next to a president, she had her own agenda and political portfolio as first lady. And that was only 8 years. Why don't you take a look at the other 27 she has spent in political life from the House Judiciary Committee in '74 to the Senate Armed Services Committee now.
Feb 9th is the date for the caucus for Obama in Washington State; I believe it is the same in many states. Call the Democratic Party in your state; find out where and when to caucus for Obama! He won't get on the Democratic ticket if we don't act fast! They will give you signs; show your support and get out there and caucus for Obama 2008!
I told my brother to turn on CNN yesterday because he wanted to vote for Hillary because he told me she's the best there, because he doesn't know too much about Obama. He works a lot and doesn't have time to watch these debates. Well he finally took the time to watch it, and he finally change his mind after watching this. Now he knows what kind of person Obama is. The one that could lead this country how it is suppose to be lead when he becomes president of the United States.
it is true, she always extends her comments where it bores people. She needs to get to the point! Obama is 10x a better debater than she is, and could knows how to explain real issues better. CNN said it, Fox News Said it, MSNBC said, finally everyone else knows it's true.
If this debate did one thing for me, it was to demonstrate that HRC is clearly the more hawkish of the two: her Iraq War vote, Iran-Resolution vote, and support of "coercive diplomacy" are in stark contrast to what Obama has stood for since the beginning.
America can't rely on threats and force forever to get what it wants, and we've seen over and over again how much that backfires with a high cost in dollars and lives.
My friends think if Hilary wins she is going to pull the troops out Iraq and months later we will get bombed again. I disagree with that. I believe there will be numerous consequences in the future if both candidates win office. I believe we will get bombed again not matter what because the truth is, The Iraqies dont like Americans. They have been fighting in the middle east for hundreds of years and all we have done is interfere with their plans. That would make anybody mad if you ask me.
We have Bush/Cheney and all their corrupt Republicans to thank for this mess; vote every Republican OUT OF A JOB! Demand accountability and impeachment!
War Crimes ARE War Crimes, even if you win the friggen war!
iraqies dont hate americans.. it is the islamic extremists and the talibans around the world that dont like american culture and policies. There are a lot of good people in iraq and they deserve justice.
She always talks in generalizations and never really directly answers questions. They never tell her to just out right answer the question. She is also good at just quoting so many stats that by the time she is finished. It sounds like she knows what she is talking about but really has'nt even answered the orginal question. She was called out on the Iraq issue. Obama even said during this debate that sometimes as president he would be wrong on some issues. She can't even admit wrong on iraq.
What happened to the campaign website? I keep getting redirected to a place called Act Blue asking to donate to Barack, but says it is not affiliated with any candidate. I do hope no one is fooled into donating to a scam. Probably the Clinton's doing.
If you actually listen to Hillary's answers to questions she just starts to ramble on about her experience and never really says what she plans on doing. Senator Obama on the other had keeps his cool, and answers questions with real answers! Barack Obama is in a seperate class way above Hillary! He is honest, sincere, loyal, and truly wants to bring this country together. I think Senator Clinton is your typical run of the mill BS politition that isnt going to accomplish a thing! VOTE OBAMA!
i was sitting there when he said that with my wife...i jumped up, like 'yes...COMMON SENSE PREVAILS, once again!' i don't get it...some people look to deeply into these debates. we don't need someone who knows every amendment by heart or has been there for sixty years. we just want someone who cares about the people. is that so much to ask. it just seems like clinton wants to be president. she even went as far as to say 'we need a total change'. about being a woman...now it's about gender...
"Senator Clinton has claimed she's got the experience on day one and the argument that I'm making in this campaign is that it is important to be RIGHT on day one."
Hillary's biggest mistake was deciding to draw contrasts with Obama. Well, she succeeded; everyone now sees who should be the next President of the United States : Barack Obama.
I disagree- Did you actually watch the "conversation"? Most of the time he agreed with what Hillary previously said and echoed her statements. He also seemed to stutter and stammer quite often during the debate. He talks the talk but can he walk the walk?
She even cloned everything Obama said at points. I don't understand why the news media hasn't discussed this, but that is just me. This was not an even debate at all. He made her statements seems ambiguous in contrast with his own. He clearly and effectively made his case, while her mind wandered in nostalgic past efforts with no barometer of success. I am truly mystified at the lack of comprehension by the news media, which leads me to believe I am the only one with any sense of reality.
Clinton talked in generalizations, and Obama made point after point in the differences of their policies. He was more articulate and effective even with his pauses, while Clinton talked in general terms that swung wide and tried to fill in gaps by continuing to speak evenly without breathing air.
Hillary got kicked square in the gut with that one. You see her expression? Wow, if looks can kill..........

Democrats from Red States that are supporting Senator OBama:
Senator Claire McCaskil of Missouri

Senator Kent Conrad of North Dakota
Senator Tim Johnson of South Dakota
Governor Tim Kaine of Virgina
Governor Janet Napolitano of Arizona
All these smart politicians know that Senator Obama and not Hillary would run better in their states.

YOU'RE RIGHT... she has cloned everything he's been saying but she wont get away with it because we know who she is.

Clinton talked in generalizations, and Obama made point after point in the differences of their policies. He was more articulate and effective even with his pauses, while Clinton talked in general terms that swung wide and tried to fill in gaps by continuing to speak evenly without breathing air.

Leader. Plain and simple.
Does anyone else hate Wolf Blitzer more and more after each debate?
