  • Americans...turning a misdiagnosis into a divine miracle.

  • NO known cure... Sad..Once you have it. you'll have it till you die..

  • I'm here because of Jason Becker.

  • @skolnick14 Same here, man. I think I've seen some of your comments on some of Becker's videos, but I'm not sure.

  • my uncle died last week after 11 years...

  • this could be just GBS(gullain Barre syndrome)

  • Um - I didn't believe a word of this to begin with, but finally when hearing the words "---the BRAIN SURGEONS---" I bursted out laughing! What on earth would brain surgeons have to do with als? Anyone who really knows what this disease is about, also knows there's nothing anyone can do.

Be thankful for your whatever symptoms going away and being able to run and smile, but don't for a second think you had als. That is just insulting for the ones suffering from it.

  • Would she be getting all this attention if she was 5' 1" tall and 380 pounds?

  • why doesn't god ever heal amutees?-dianosed 3/02

  • misdianosed

  • @The391956 look, i know on youtube it easy to write things without thought because the person cant physically come back at u, but have some couth and refrain from writing things that might cause one to read ur comment, lose hope and get sick again, seriously.

  • ALS is a scary way to die, but think of this, death is for sure to us. Nobody lives forever. ^^

  • Antibiotics do not work on viruses anyhow. Oh well, just wanted to help spread some live-saving information since mainstream medicine wants to keep the truth quiet. I hope you all with ALS are listening/reading. ALS is NOT a death sentence. Keeping the faith helps too!

  • BORRELIA BURGDORFERI

  • I believe in God but I don't believe in miracle cures or anything like that simply because I believe what befalls you God foresaw before time and hell and high water isn't going to change that.

  • Why have I never heard of god healing an amputee?

  • I think she was misdiagnosed, I had all ALS symptoms a year ago, weakness in mylegs, twitching, trippingm, cramps, although I'm 26, I was totally sure I had it, but now, a year later, I know I do not have ALS. The symptoms dissapeared all except twitching. It seemed like it was related to alcohol. ALS is not a disease to diagnose so quickly!

  • God is well able to heal ALS. All diseases are subject to the Word of God and the name of Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible with God. Hallelujah!

  • Maybe they misdiagnosed her?

    BUT

I do believe in God and positive thinking fixing all things in life.

    <3

  • To all of you saying it's 100% als and 100% incurable NOTHING is 100% NOTHING

  • Sorry about your misdiagnosis. Have fun with your imaginary friends.

  • It must have been a misdiagnosis. I'm happy that whatever she had went into remission, but 100% of all patients with ALS eventually die. Probably the most cruel and relentless diseases that can affect mankind.

  • @Marty2475 , why has to be a MUST!!! what if she HAD the illness?? don't rule out God!! open your logic and eyes... who created the brain, nature, planets?? doesn't it shout to your intelligence... there is a designer??

  • If she wasn't misdiagnosed and she really went into remission. God Bless you.

Because your faith has healed you...Faith can move mountains. That is not to say that other people w/ALS have little faith, but maybe feel there is little hope

to keep enduring this death sentence in it's advanced stages. This goes to show, that ALS patients & families should "NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT - NEVER !!! Pray the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

  • modern medicine can diagnose (and treat symptoms), but does have a poor track record at really understanding and curing many illnesses. People degenerate at different rates, suggesting there are things that limit and slow ALS progression(genetic or environment)... thus it is possible to reverse I think (and possibly under special circumstances to regenerate to an extent). However, we all die sooner or later, so even if it can be reversed... something else (cancer, cardiac, etc) will get us.

  • God is good. He is the ultimate healer and every single person on earth is already been healed, you just need to recieve it. We are healed by the blood of Jesus. It is sad to see all these people with little or no faith.

  • No one has every gone into remission from ALS or been cured from ALS.

I agree with those that say she was diagnosed too quickly and was misdiagnosed. It took the Dr's 2 years to diagnose my Mom with ALS. There is no definitive test for it, they rule everything else out and that is why it takes so long for a diagnosis. She most likely has MS, which goes into remission. And the symptoms are very similar.

This video should be removed it give false hope out there for people with ALS.

  • @bhart6866 I agree with you 100%!! I couldn't have said it better myself! It took Drs approx 1 1/2yrs to diagnose my father.

  • @bhart6866 yes they have. Antibiotics.

    w w w . youtube d0t com / watch?v=H-KZc2NbDvk

  • @ItsBB1tch Antibiotics will not do anything for ALS. It is a neurological disease not a virus. Do some real research before you reply.

  • @bhart6866

I just showed you a video for a doctor who recovered from ALS with antibiotics. He actually had lyme disease, which is also a degenerative neurological disese. You need to do some more research. I know what I am talking about. Before being so hostile, you may want to check out ILADs. It may save your life. Good luck to you.

  • Last week my father learned that he had been miraculously healed of his ALS. We found out that he had ALS a little more than a year ago. His doctor is one of the world's best, Dr. Stanley Appel in Houston. When my parents asked Dr. Appel if there was any chance he was given a mis diagnosis, Dr. Appel said there was no mistake--he had ALS, and now it's gone. 6 months back, God spoke to my mother and me in a dream on the same weekend, It was truly the word of God--there is no other explanation.

  • u were obviously misdiagnosed. im amazingly happy to hear u got better from whatever you had, but this video can be hurtful to others who have als or to those whose loved ones have als. it gives a false hope to these people. they know they have no cure, but they work on finding other ways to find good in such a terrible disease. my father was diagnosed with this disease, and i wish there was a cure but i know there is none. thats why we should all work together to find one!

  • Amazing Video! I believe that All things are Possible! what an awesome miracle.. I remember my My dad died of ALS last july 20, 2009 I really Missed him so much. I know that my dad is in Christ now. I love you dad!!

  • I don't mean to be mean but I'm not sure she had ALS. Maybe MS, whitch goes into remission. My Mother died of ALS...she went to church and went for healings. Nobody deserves to die this way. Be thankful. MS will be cured before ALS.

  • There definitely are cases of remission - the Mayo Clinic has verified this.

  • i am 16 and my mom got diagnoised 3 or 4 years ago its getting closer to the 5th year and it scares me to think about living without her. i wish this would have happened with my mom..i went to church and prayedlike this lady but guesswat she still has it

  • There are many different therapies being tried, usually on patients' own. Prayer, as far as I'm concerned, is one of them. And the stories are out there, if you don't simply buy into unproven assertions. Look! Question. Follow your instincts. Network.

Some of us will die of our ALS. Some will not. But you damn sure will if you simply accept that unproven dictum without question. I'm 8+ years and still going strong. Never give up - never. There is always hope.

  • @skelotan Have you seen the recent studies on using Spirulina for ALS? Also, the fears of blue/green algea causing ALS or a similar disease have been debunked.

  • There are documented cases of everything from complete remission to cessation of deterioration, to people living 20+ years or more without Stephen Hawking style med assist.

Ultimately, while science knows WHAT is happening - motor neurone death - they don't know WHY; and so can't know what can halt and even reverse the cycle. They claim that ALS is fatal because anyone who has ALS dies, and therefore if you don't die, you don't have ALS. We need to move beyond such circular reasoning.

  • 1. The definitive tests that diagnose ALS are not based on determining "muscle wasting," but on accurately measuring nerve integrity vs. motor neuron activity. The U hospital uses those high tech standards. When those criteria are met, then they test for anything, such as HIV,GB, Lyme's, etc. that could mimic the effect. The UM also did that.

    2. It is impossible to confuse ALS with MS using these tests.

    3. Not everyone dies of ALS. This is the single largest fallacy about the disease.

  • While not everyone dies -because- of ALS, no one has ever been cured of it.

Remissions are rare, as are cases where the degeneration reaches a plateau.

For those of you who happen to have plateaued and have been able to survive and stay active longer than most , I'm happy for you. However, playing down the devestation because of these rare cases does not help the cause. People, especially those -without- ALS, need to know the hard truth.

  • I believe in God and I believe in miracles but I do not believe this woman actually had ALS to begin with. She was misdiagnosed, like

Rasissten said there are other types of illnesses that mimic some of the symptoms of ALS. My husband died three years ago of this horrific disease. There is no one test to determine this disease, they have to test you for everything it could be and if nothing shows up then they say it's ALS. She could have possibly had MS, it does go into remission but not ALS.

  • Could've been Guillain - Barre...?

  • Those who state that no one has ever survived ALS, they are highly uninformed. You don't have to be misdiagosed or believe in God for that matter. If you are literate you can read the documented data of spontaneous remissions of ALS. If you are not fully informed, don't utter sweeping comments like, "No one has every survived...." . Faith or fallacy is not necessarily the issue. Fact is, remission can, does and will occur.

  • You don't really come back from ALS. I don't think anyone ever has in the history of the disease.

She should have gotten a second opinion to see if she was misdiagnosed (which happens)

I'm not hating on miracles. I'm just saying a misdiagnosis is much much more likely, because again, this disease is always terminal.

    I agree with Krisztinah2o

  • she is lying .i could make up something like that

  • When I first saw this, the first thing I thought was that she was misdiagnosed, here is why... There are many diseases that mimic ALS, her age, and the speed in which she recovered Did she get a second opinion?. I HAVE ALS ( although I prefer Motor Neuron Disease, less drastic) and I believe in GOD and there is no one person that can tell me that I have no faith when in spite of what I am dealing with, I still thank GOD for it. Even the not so good stuff. Thank GOD she was misdiagnosed!!

  • i think its sad that u say u have faith, but u dont seem to believe in miracles?..

miracles happen every day, why couldn't god cure ALS?...

my best friends partner has motor neurone disease and he is slowly fading, if he were to suddenely start to go to church and have faith in god and then be cured, it would be insulting to say well, he must have been misdiagnosed...miracles happen..cant we just be grateful for them?...

  • I am sorry, but this is bullshit. I watched a woman who loved God, prayed everyday, was a devout christian, THE ROCK OF MY FAMILY waste away to nothing... praying all the time, crying, begging God to help her through this. This woman was obviously misdiagnosed. My stepmother was the strongest I had ever met, she exercised everyday. My step mom lost the battle with ALS 4 years after she was diagnosed, and believe me, after the first year could not even kneel to pray, Let alone talk. We miss her

  • @DravenClykerKenturo look, i know on youtube it easy to write things without thought because the person cant physically come back at u, but have some couth and refrain from writing things that might cause one to read ur comment, lose hope and get sick again, seriously.

  • @Krisztinah2o I don't want to upset you with this comment just something to think about, you can have faith and still not get healed, like Christ said you error because you do not understand the scriptures, alot of people pray for healing or for faith, these acts are counterproductive, I think it's a full understanding and realization that you are already healed. Faith comes by hearing the word of GOD, took me a while to understand what this really meant,

  • @Krisztinah2o

I belive she was miss diagnosed.

Maybe a pinched nurve or M.S.

    or simple nurves.

  • @The391956 If she had MS there would have been signs on her MRI

  • Spiritual eyes need to be opened. The US population is 301,139,947 and 30,000 have ALS. There are 2,000 views and 10 comments. Out of those 10, there are 5 comments of people who personally knew people with ALS. One has a son with ALS. One has a mother who died of ALS. One has a Father with ALS who's sister died of it. Whippies&Sprei have friends. Is God is trying to speak to these people?

  • Even if you were right and she was misdiagnosed (which is complete trash to make yourself feel good about what you don't understand) it wouldn't touch faith. This is one example of millions. I too, have experiences with GOD. These transcend the natural.

  • Mardigan71, who said God won't heal amputees? YOU JUST WON'T SEE IT. He does perform many amazing creative miracles in third world countries. Why doesn't God just give us one USA documented amputee growth with 5 doctors witnessing it for you mardingan71? FAITH!!! haha, "I tell you, if you only had faith as small as a mustardseed" .... Let me give you a clue.... God exists, the only thing holding you back from him is fear. Ask me anything you want, I'll help you if i can.

  • I say god won't heal amputees and so does reality. No one has ever grown a limb back. It's physically impossible for humans to grow limbs back. Prayer works like astrology, it works for you if you believe in it & want to retrofit the outcome.

Don't talk to me about fear & helping me, suferdude. I was born into a very god-fearing pentecostal family & wasted a huge portion of my life on that trash. I don't need you talking down to me about religion. Been there, done that. It's a waste of time.

  • can't help you!

  • In the garden, when the Roman's servants ear was cut off, He didn't make it grow back. He could have...but he instead, picked up the ear and placed it back on. Of course if you don't believe in the Bible, you won't believe that.

But honestly, would a regeneratinglimb make you believe in God? It's about faith. I can guarantee you if someone regrew an arm people would be jumping on it saying it was a evolution link to the reptiles that regrow tails.

  • Even if you were right and she was misdiagnosed (which is complete trash to make yourself feel good about what you don't understand) it wouldn't touch faith. This is one example of millions. I too, have experiences with GOD. These transcend the natural.

  • btw, they said my dad would live for 2-4 years and he can still talk after 10years.

  • I say misdiagnosis. Plus, why does she have to ask god to be healed? Why doesn't he just prevent the disease from happening? ALSO, why won't god heal amputees??? Why is it in cases of supposed "faith healings", god seems to heal things that can only be detected by tests or could be confused with other things. God has never once healed an amputee. Why?

  • get this off. when you get ALS you can pray all you want- you're still going to die except you're going to hell for lying.

  • this is fuckin bull shit. this is false hope. nobody has ever survived als. they should take this off of here.

  • My mom died of als this is complete BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!! Im glad that she has faith but this is just not true. She could not have been diagnosed with ALS that fast. I dont want to see anybody have false hope. If you have ALS you are going to die. Faith helped my mom pass. But this is false hope and wrong in every way. If you want a religious way to think about it this is gods way of calling them home.

  • She was cleary misdiagnosed. My father was diagnosed with ALS after a two year search to find what was wrong with him. His sister passed away from ALS 10 years ago. The symptoms of ALS can mimic many other things - but a diagnosis of ALS shouldn't be given that fast.

  • luckily for your son typically the younger you are diagnosed the better(in terms of living the longest with the disease). if you are older you typically have 3-5 years.

    i agree, she was misdiagnosed.

  • This is NEWS? How's about CRAP?

  • I believe she was healed by her Faith in GOD! As a matter of fact, that is what I am going to do cause my son was recently diagnosed with ALS disease.

I REALLY BELIEVE IN GOD AND HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN HELP MY SON RIGHT NOW.

  • I admire your faith

  • "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgiveth all thine iniquities, and healeth all thy diseases." Psalm 103:2, 3. O what a marvellous way is this of healing our souls! It is God's way. Unconvinced sinners care not about it; proud, self-righteous souls reject it; licentious spirits abuse it; believing, humble hearts rejoice in it, give Christ the glory of it, and walk worthy of the Lord, to all pleasing. Col. 1:10.

  • BS, she was misdiagnosed...END OF STORY

  • SDE7, Most ALS diagnosis are not misdiagnosed. Muscle atrophy can be confused with Lyme but it is never misdiagnosed by someone who is experienced. END OF STORY.

  • Of course MOST cases are NOT misdiagnosed, but this is clearly an exception to the "MOST" rule. Muscle atrophy can be due to many different disorders, but the end of this story is that SHE WAS MISDIAGNOSED because in the end she turned out NOT TO HAVE ALS. Any knowledgeable doctor would agree this is a case of misdiagnosis because she can not be cured of an incurable disease. She should just be happy she doesn't have ALS.

  • "Why are you afraid, you of little faith?"

The lack of faith is the inability or refusal to see, grasp and use spiritual truth.

  • Hahaha. I don't care what you believe. I know what a bunch of made-up crap christianity is because I've seen it first hand. How about you research evolution, you of little knowledge! Ignorance is bliss for you...don't deny it.

  • Belief and prayer can cure people; it's just that i think it's belief in a cure itself which cures, not some receiver at the end of the line. The power of the mind and self-conviction is underestimated; sometimes it's freezing cold over here and i keep repeating to myself "it's warm. it's warm" til i get home.. and it DOES start to feel warm! lol

  • Agreed. She did not have ALS.

    ALS is a death sentence.

There are other types of illnesses that mimic some of the symptoms of ALS.
