I still think we need social safety nets but it shouldn't be done but taxing income or property. With the consumption patterns in this country we could have a social safety net with a national income tax similar to Dubais. @RP4409 Eliminating the income tax would be great, but it needs to be replaced with a national sales tax. I still think we need social safety nets but it shouldn't be done but taxing income or property. With the consumption patterns in this country we could have a social safety net with a national income tax similar to Dubais. @Armornone That is NOT my argument. My argument, is that there is a KNOWN link between alcohol and tobacco use, and cancer. There is NO known link between cannabis use and cancer. There are some studies which suggest there may be a link, and some studies which suggest there is no link, which means more research is needed before you can even pretend a KNOWN link exists between cannabis use and cancer.
Your argument against the legalisation of cannabis, is that it is illegal. That's weak.
