he says that's his opinion. But will he follow through with it? We've all seen the politician who says what ever he can to get people to vote for him and then when it comes time for them to serve, their opinions suddenly flip flop or they put the "minor" issues on the back burner. I think it's time we see someone who actually follows through with their ideas and makes the changes they say they will.

Why are idiots who have never put their lives on the line for their country or faced real life combat situations bitching and moaning about allowing gays in the military in the first place? The soldiers are the ones who are putting everything on the line they should be the ones to decide on this issue not some idiot pro gay liberals or anti gay conservatives who have never served a day in the military! @alexreffand I was in the military, serving for eight years in the U.S. Navy. When I was on board the U.S.S. Okinawa, a shipmate of mine was sexually assaulted by a gay man who had lied on his application. This is why the UCMJ states that homosexuality is not compatible with military service.
