No, people just play def3ence. Look at Gretzky videos, teams play systems and defense now, NHL teams in the 70's and early 80's literally didn't even play systems. Scoring post-lockout is also up.

Best hockey player EVER, hands down. The man was incredible as is but, imagine if he didn't have so many injuries. He had it all speed, vision, and awesome hands for a man that big. He dominated his whole career. One year in the Q he had 133 goals in 70 games, crazy.

Gretzky is the best all around player, Mario is the best Goal scorer. Mario came close to beating Gretzky's record of 215 points, but had 199. In many ways(Years) Gretzky was better, despite your belief. They are both #1 to me. But Gretzky is a better Ambassador than Mario is.
