Wow! I won't say you'll be the next Charlotte Church because in fact your technique is better than hers - your tone is clear and forward, not breathy, and your runs beautifully controlled. And I love that you're singing really appropriate repertoire for a young voice like yours - early music works wonders for young voices, doesn't it? Gorgeous ornamentation too! And here's agreeing with brookeoliviab, both that the song is a bear and that you tamed said bear very nicely! :)

You did a great job on this song! My teacher refers to is as "a bear," enough said as to how challenging this song is. I'm learning it for my program in University and this vid helped alot. Thank you for posting it!!

This was an absolutely beautiful performance of this piece. Your diction is very clear, every word completely understandable. The only thing I would say to look at is something I myself, as a vocal major, must pay attention to is not making all of the notes in the melismas of equal value. By doing this it makes them easier to sing and some of the notes wont sound slightly pushed. But this only applies to some of your melissmas (mostly the longer passages) but again Brava!!

Thank you very much for posting this. I am sure it lifts the spirits of all the listeners as it did mine. In my opinion art is communication between the artist and the the listener or see'r or whatever. Its breath comes from the heart as well as the diaphragm. First of all your voice is excellent. I know how much work this wong takes to master and you have the runs down well.

I would try to flip the r in triumph a bit more. its a little heavy. Never breathe in the middle of a word. i caught you around :50 and 1:28 in the middle of the word sings. Most of your ornimination is fabulous. And I would try to focus a little more. You seem a bit everywhere and its distracting from the sound. But it was wonderful! Keep it up, this is fabulous!

This is again to challenging for your young voice, which makes it sound like you squeal. But I do really think you have a lot of talent, and you should start singing easier pieces to develop your technique. Good to start with are vocalises of Vaccai of concone, and some arie antiche.Maybe the aria L'ho perduta out Le Nozze de Figaro.
