To settle the debate: Yes, he does take three steps in the first clip. (when he does the lay up.) BUT:  If you take off (jump) on the third step, then it's NOT traveling. (It's called, "the two and a half step rule." It allows players to finish if they're on their way to the basket.) If you don't jump on the third step, then it is a travel.
