How to install, setup and use Nethost for IRSHELL

I did exactly like its said (except i don't know how to forward port 7513)

my psp says "initiating wifi" the nethostfs shows "accepting new connection from IP 192.168.*.*" and then psp shows error "Error: Can't connect to Network host".please solve my problem.

YOU FORGOT ONE OF THE MOST COMPLICATED BUT MOST IMPORTANT THING ON HERE!,

YOU MUST "MUST" Foward the "7513" Port on your Rutor configuration page, by typeing in 192.168.1.1 on the web browser, and using the password admin and username admin log in and go to port mapping or port fowarding and foward the port 7513 SO IMPORTANT your psp is only listening in through port 7513 and so is your PC, if 7513 is blocked, then it ant connect to the psp,

dude i have this bigggg problem, i have just a adsl router connected to my pc with ethernet cable and my phoneline through the splitter goes into my adsl router. the problem is that i cannot connect my pc via ethernet and my psp via wifi to the router simultaneously. when i am connected to internet on my pc then my psp wont connect and when i am on my psp then pc wont connect. they give username and password error. plzzz help

Well, as long you have connection to your router, then it shouldn't be that bad. Check your status and make sure its a lease above 45%. If its above that percentage, things should be ok, else things might run slow.

So far, the iso games works!!! but a lot slower than usb iso. Dont know if that will improve if I applied that patch.

I changed that to Maximum and tried apply the patch. but still takes forever for a 800mb iso. maybe is because it's phat not slim or 3000. I wonder if you have a faster loading time for a 1gb iso?

I have been trying different combinations in the irshell config and the recovery menu to try and get the iso and cso to load, do the seplugins folder have part in the iso and cso to load in nethost, I had it working at first but then I upgraded to m33-6 and din't work properly so I went back to 5.00m33-4 and now when I load the iso or cso I get no disk in nethost and usbhost only if I download the iso or cso into my psp iso folder it will load.

this plus pspdisp is pretty friggen BA, u can do download ur stuff, say torrents, with pspdisp then put them in the correct folders and then put them on your psp via nethost! yay

talking about ports, while launching nethost.exe it opens a certain port of your pc, check that the irshell configurator options, matches the same port.

first of all, is nethost running on your psp and pc? once you are sure both things are working, if you need to see the hole drives and files of your pc, you need to do the custom command i show at almost the end of the video.

ok for the ir code, you must make your psp learn your tv ircode(using your tv's remote controller) that is explained in the irshell readme. for the backups, apply the patch for the fw, and also check the irshell configurator and set the umd mode to no umd m33 mode. try that

The CFW is wrong, irshell 3.9 works completely weel in 3.80m33, it also works in 3.90 m33 but looses some characteristics. In 4.01 m33 only a few things work. so you decide wich cfw use. I'm still in 3.80 m33

ok, i am with everything ok, alredy aplyed the patch and nethostfs is up and running, thanx. but every time i try to run an iso, it dont show me the game icon on backgound when you are pronted to hit X to start. and when you hit X, it keeps reading (trying at least) but ends with "80020148" error, just like does with Raviloga. did u apllied the patch for the fimware; it is on ms0/irshell/patch/(your fw)/btcnfjn.prx

run that file from the file mannager in irshell, that makes irshell drivers compatible with your firmware drivers. that is the real irshell patch for the fw. once you´ve done that go to irshell configurator and enable the m33 driver for launching isos.

My PSP works perfectly on my internet

I've done everything, now I go into IR Shell Configurator and down to the settings for NetHost.

Everything looks swish except for the "XMB Network for NetHost" option says "Not Used"

I'm always about 30cm away from my modem when I do this

I've pressed the X button and used the directional keys but I havn't tried using combinations keys (X+□)

Can you suggest anything I might be doing wrong?

ok, in the irshell configurator, while selecting the "xmb network for nethost" press circle and move the cross to left or right. if your network is configured on the xmb you should see it. Hope this help
