  • i just got a new psp 1004 and but cant instal that CIPL flasher it says doesnt support this model plzz help

  • @joeneblabla That is really weird. But if it says incompatible then it won't work for permanent CFW. Just run the CFW update every time you boot your PSP, that's all.

  • "If you don't know how to use that, then go to hell

    "

  • Hey man did this for my friends psp but said it doesn't support this model. (which in 04g) if you let me know how I can be around this I'd appreciate it. oh it installed all the way until CIPL Flasher For PRO-B

  • @Kapapalani Unfortunately if it says incompatible that is it. You cannot use the CIPL Flasher. This is not a problem, just means you need to run the CFW update every time you start the PSP fresh =]

  • @HolmesInFive Thnx duude thanx so much! but i just wanna ask u if it's working with my psp 3000 3g (without any risk)

  • @TheAlistrawberry There is no risk, but the CIPL flasher won't work. So you must run the CFW installer every time you start the PSP in a cold boot.

  • thanks so much. Your guide was really easy to understand compared to all the other ones on the internet lol

  • @zhouwei987 Thanks for the feedback =D Glad I've made it so easy to follow and understand =]

  • my psp won't run cipl flasher...will that affect anything?

  • @MrGman2000watts Just means you need to run the CFW installer every time you cold boot the PSP. No biggie

  • what about the proB10?

  • I don't need to downgrade to 6.20, right?

  • I don't need to downgrade to 6.20, right?

  • so with the custom firmware can i at any point switch back to official firmware?

  • @darkhoshinonz Yep, just run the CIPL flasher again and uninstall it.

  • mine doesn't reboot what so ever, it just cuts off and i dont know why. i tried formating the flashes, (cause i had cfw 5.0 m33-4 - m33-5, 5.50 gen d3, 5.50 prom 4) now i want to update to 6.60 pro b 10 but im having problems and it seems that nobody else is having the same problem as me. please i need some help

  • @flirtatious56 Try turning off all your plugins. I had the exact same problem, spent an entire week on and off googling and tampering with things. Eventually found out a lot of plugins cause freezing on boot. Hope that helps!

  • @flirtatious56 If Upgrading from 5.50 GEN or 5.50 Prometheus 4 1. Open VSH menu by clicking on the Select button from xmb (main psp menu) 2. Change USB device to Flash0 3. Connect your psp to pc 4. Navigate to \vsh\etc 5. Open version.txt using notepad or wordpad 6. In the first line change the 9.90 to 5.50 and save. 7. Disconnect your psp from the pc and change the USB device back to Memory stick in vsh menu 8- the rest is just follow the video tutorial
  • I have a PSP-1000 with CFW 5.50 Prome-4. Can just update with CFW 6.60 PRO-B9/B10?

  • @elmoizkwl Once you are updated to 6.60 OFW then yes.

  • Thanks!!!

  • @0100111O Glad I could help =]

  • Man i folow steps and say this program dosent support your ....

  • @tomosmkd2012 If you have a late PSP 2000 or any PSP 3000 it won't work unfortunately.

  • @HolmesInFive man i addd u please accept me on fb Im Бо

  • THANK YOU!!!!! LIKE

  • @BitBoxerMPC No worries!

  • It says "This installer does not support this model" What do i have to do now?

  • @TheStiffiest If you have a late PSP 2000 or any PSP 3000 it won't work unfortunately.

  • worked perfectly, nice tutorial :)

  • model o.4g

  • @artyskly If you have a late PSP 2000 or any PSP 3000 it won't work unfortunately.

  • Comment removed

  • WHAT DO I DO

  • NOT WORKING CLIPL FLASHER

  • @artyskly Try searching for "Custom IPL Switcher for 6.60" that one works.

  • THANK YOU!! Worked like a charm

  • @MinjoJinjo No worries! Glad it worked.

  • when i start the cipl flasher it said it doesnt support this model what do i do

  • @mrcouchpotatoe702 It won't work with your PSP. Just means you need to run the CFW update every time you cold boot the PSP

  • GREAT JOB!! MATE!!!!!!11

  • I borrowed my friends psp 1000 and tried this, i didnt work the first time but then i formated the memory card and then it WORKED :D

Thanks for the video, btw 7zip is so much better than winrar

  • @Zetzoh Glad you got it to work =] I haven't tried 7zip yet, but I probably will.

  • I have try it like u and it works for the beginning fine but when i start the CIPl Flasher he say: "This installer doesnbt support this modell" i have a PSP-3004 modell. Can u help me? Have u a link for an CIPl Flasher that support my modell?

  • I want to do this to my psp 3000 but I hear running the flasher will brick it?

  • YEA GO KINGDOM HEARTS!!!

  • So I just did this... what does this do for my psp?

  • @OhhYeahh6 You can now download homebrew games and apps, as well as play backed up (or downloaded ISO or CSO PSP games. Keep it to backed up games though, I don't support piracy.

  • When I run CPL flasher, it says device not suported and then goes back to the main menu. I'm very, VERY unlucky.

  • @LegendarySap It says I have a 05g model running 6.60. I checked on the CFW website and it says that that is supported. Wtf?

  • @LegendarySap If you have a PSP 3000 or a newer PSP 2000 they are unfortunately not compatible. They were made to stop this kind of permanent hack.

  • oh my god is there any way to hack a psp 3000 because none of this shit works

  • Where did you get that theme? It's badass!

  • @moreno3663 Haha honestly I can't remember, its been years since I found it. Just search Kingdom Hearts PSP Themes, or even Birth By Sleep PSP Themes. I think that's how I got it.

  • Thank you^^

  • @firey23 Any time!

  • thank you!! xD

  • @112233ola Glad I helped! =]

  • Thank you.

You just got one new subscriber.

  • @A1B2C3567 Awesome! Thanks for the sub =]

  • Thanks for the tutorial! It helped me update my psp to the latest firmware :). I wanted to be up to date with the homebrew scene. Now I don't have to worry much about incompatibility :D.

  • @BriNCz Glad I helped you out!

  • oh well ive got one of the psps that doesn have i :( do a video on how to do it :)?

  • @INFLICTEDPAIN213 Haha unfortunately there isn't a CIPL flasher for the models that do not support this one. Just means you will need to run the update every time you cold boot your PSP, no biggie =]

  • when i run cipl flasher it says ''this intaller does not support this model.'' I have model 04g

  • @jayman36553 Unfortunately you cannot do it. Some models are just incompatible with it. Don't worry, just means you need to run the PSP CFW update every time you cold boot the PSP.

  • well i installed it but there seems to be nothing worth running on it. think i will just trade in the psp since i'm getting a vita anyway. the only thing i got running was an snes emulator and a crappy one at that. seems most stuff is designed for older firmware.

  • Cool found my psp when cleaning under my bed for getting a new mattress. going to turn it into an emulator machine. Can't wait for my vita though

  • Please i have tried it like 5-6 times with different sites/videos and still it doesnt work what happens is that once i launch the pro update i press x and everything works fine however after that the psp is supposed to restart but it acually crashes/turn off i have a psp 2001 model btw so i dont know if thats supported or not

  • @saskai542 It is possible that if you have certain plugins active it will cause the PSP to crash. Try turning off all plugins and figuring out which one causes the PSP to crash on boot.

If you don't have plugins, then I am unsure of your problem.

  • @HolmesInFive Somehow formatting my memory stick fixed the problem for me Thanks for trying to help though :)

  • Thank You So Much :)

  • THANKS.fuck you .thanks so much.sorry about that fuck you .i typed that because of happines

  • @eminem2shadow Ahahaha you're welcome.

  • whre do i put the stupid sdk folder!!!!!!!!! thanks

  • @Snopelo Don't need to worry about that. Just follow the video, ignore the SDK folder.

  • What exactly does this cfw let me do

  • @killerhornit Play homebrew and backed up games as well as (if you are that way inclined) pirated games.

  • what should i do everything went fine and then the CIPL Flasher says incompatable but im on a 2g????

  • @bronzelord70 If it is a PSP 3000 or a newer PSP 2000 you cannot do it. Some models are just incompatible with it. Don't worry, just means you need to run the PSP CFW update every time you cold boot the PSP.

  • @HolmesInFive when i run cipl flasher it says ''this intaller does not support this model.'' what to do now???

  • where did you get that theme

  • @mikelromero10 Sorry I have no idea haha I've had it for ages now, I've forgotten. Just do a Google for Kingdom Hearts PSP themes and it should be on the internet somewhere.

  • EVERYTHING WENT PERFECT BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! when i go to "CIPL Flasher for PRO-B" and click run it starts up normally but says "THIS INSTALLER DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS MODEL" i have done everything in your video perfect and everything is going great up until u have to start the CIPL thing. PLZ help. PSP-3001. color is white;D

  • @misry676 You have done everything right! Only thing is while you can use the CFW on all models of the PSP, only the PSP 1000 and 2000 are compatible with the CIPL Flasher. Just means you need to run the CFW update every time you reboot the PSP, no biggy.

  • mine went to Model :03g is that ok??

  • @DTMethodman Not a problem. If the CIPL Flasher is incompatible it will tell you anyway.

  • @HolmesInFive Thank you very much :)

  • You are awesome!!!!!

  • @spenca97 Haha thanks!

  • what is the difference between b9 and b10? i have a e3004 version. so which should i install?

  • @xjakax They are essentially both the same thing. B10 is just more up to date.

  • got 1000 put 6.60 b10 when i put emulators they show as corrupted data or doesnt show up ne help?

  • @delrey25 If it is an older emulator it may not be compatible with newer firmware. Read up on some forums to make sure.

  • it worked.. but i cant save my game data to the memory.. need help

  • @TheSuperMixedNutz You may need to browse some forums for help with that, never experienced it myself =S

  • can you play downloaded isos

  • @umerrule Indeed you can.

  • kool ima try this lol

  • it says installer does not support this model in CIPL how to i fix this

  • @stephathehunter222 You cannot fix this. All you can do is either wait for a possible update to the CIPL flasher, or get a PSP that is compatible with the perm-patch.

  • My emulators and homebrew won't work now with new 6.60 PRO-B10 firmware. Any help? :[

  • where is the download button in that website the link goes to

  • @DynoMite909 Lol I have a video for RemoteJoyLite installation on this firmware. When I made this video, no one thought you could tun RJL on 6.60 PRO.

  • omg thx dude

  • @bosslyalex123 Glad I helped =]

  • Thank you! Everything went perfectly! Your a genius!

  • @TheRulerOfPenguins Glaad it helped! =]

  • would CIPL flasher brick my PSP 1000?

  • @TheRulerOfPenguins No. It will either work and install, or your PSP may not be a compatible model and just leave the installer.

  • everytime you turn the psp off does all the games you download still work after you use fast recovery???

  • @samb11691 The games will only work when running CFW. They won't go anywhere though.

  • @HolmesInFive when i go to install the cipl flasher it says this installer does not support this model. i have a psp 2000 6.60 i was able to install the pro update just not the cipl flasher

  • @SuperKamiUzu you have done everything correctly. Unfortunately your PSP just falls under the list of PSP's not compatible with the permanent patch. Not too big a deal, you just need to run the PRO Update every time you turn the PSP on from a complete shut down.

  • My Psp is unhackable if this is the way how to hack that devil thing. I have a Psp 3004 with OFW 6.60 and i tryed this way but there was no text after i run the game it just got stand by. or do i have to klick the left trigger after the updater is running ore press the x ore select button ?

  • @AtixXxist All you need to do is follow the video 100% every step. With a PSP 3000 though, you most likely won't be able to do the perma patch. Don't stress about that.

  • awesome video man. Worked perfectly.

  • @defhead2 Glad it worked!

  • Thumbs up if u stopped to see his facebook page!!

  • u are the best

  • @abdullhakim11 Glad I could help!

  • can u pls tell me da best ps2 emulator for psp? im running pro b9 on 6.60,psp 3000...

    n any instructions...thnx in advance!!

  • @Nihal428 You cannot emulate PS2 on PSP.

  • Man...thank you thank you thank you very very much....you save my life man...^_^

  • @MyYam22 No worries man! Merry Christmas!

  • Nice Video! Very clear!

    But my question:

What is the Fast recovery good for if you have the CIPL?

    THX for answer.

    CJLM

  • @ComandaJoeLM The Fast Recovery is basically if anything goes wrong with the PSP during the installation. If everything went well, then don't even worry about the Fast Recovery.

  • whats the difference between b9 and b10?

  • @DimensionWarcraft Just a few small updates and bug fixes etc.

  • if Ur not familiar with it...go to hell...i like u dude

  • @karanbkk Haha tis the truth. If anyone who is on a computer doesn't know what Google is then they shouldn't be using it.

  • Help mines keeps saying this program doesnt support ur FW ??? im running version 6.37 on the psp 1000 series

  • @captainchris90 You need to update to official firmware 6.60 to run this.

  • @HolmesInFive okay worked now thanx.. ooh and how does the program work wen u turn off u re-install or is it permanetn till u do something about it..

  • @captainchris90 Permanent until you run the perma-patch again and uninstall that.

  • @HolmesInFive okay awsome and thanx again for the help new subscriber and one last question know a site where i can get isos jap and english im gussing it will play both righrt.. thanx again.,

  • @captainchris90 Indeed it will play both, however I do not post anything on my channel that directly encourages piracy. All I will say is that if you use the right search terms Google will be your best friend.

  • @HolmesInFive Thanks dude I finally have my psp and I can't connect it to my internet it exchanges information then keeps failing. I really have no idea what to do now. I've put the correct WPA password (TKIP) can't get connected. >.< please help.

  • @JProduction1000 Ah damn. In terms of internet there are so many things that can be weird with the PSP. With my PSP, I have to try about 5-6 times to connect before its actually successful.

I am unsure as to how to get yours to connect, you might need to change the type of password protection? I did that once with my older Internet and that worked.

  • Very nice guide. Easy to follow even for a newbie.

Thanks, and you got yourself a new subscriber.

  • @dingostar2620 Thanks! Glad I am going them well =] this was my first proper tutorial too. Many thanks for the sub!

  • @HolmesInFive Thanks for the information that was really removed any ifs and buts I had that prevented me from not putting the cfw on my psp. I'm looking to use temporary Pro-B9 as there's not any point of putting permanent which has a chance to brick your psp and fast recovery is only 30secs so it's great. Now my last question is, Do emulators such as GBA cause psp's to brick or give blue screen of death. =/

  • @JProduction1000 No way. Emulators if anything at the worst will cause your PSP to freeze, and then shut down. All you need to do then is turn the PSP back on to return to normal. I really doubt that would ever happen though unless you were messing around with some in depth files like I did. You will be fine! =]

  • Hi I have purchased psp 3000 vibrant blue brite. Do I need to know what motherboard is my psp to get this custom firmware? or does it not matter because all psp 3000's are hackable?and what motherboard do you reckon my psp is e.g. 1g 2.g. Please answer thank you in advance :)

  • @JProduction1000 The CFW will run on ANY PSP. The only thing you need to know your motherboard for is to find out whether it is compatible with the CIPL flasher.

You can check your Motherboard by installing the CFW, then going to System info. The Mac Address should say your Motherboard type.

The easiest thing to do though is just run the CFW, then try the CIPL flasher. If it is compatible it will work, otherwise it will tell you it isn't compatible with your PSP model.

    Hope I helped!

  • awesome video thanks so much do you think you can make a video showing all your homebrews and links for the homebrews

  • @XBOXGAMES99 I can make a video of the homebrew/ISO's I have, but I cannot post links for websites that condone piracy.

  • my psp is exactly the same as yours i did everything right but then wen i did the cipl flasher it said this installer does not support your model? can i do anything or do i just leave this video :L

  • @KitchenCarl2011 Unfortunately your PSP model (some of the internals may be different to mine) isn't compatible with the CIPL flasher. To have CFW you will have to run the CFW update every time you start the PSP from a complete power down. Otherwise wait until a CIPL flasher comes out with greater compatibility.

  • @HolmesInFive hey. i have a psp e1008 (street), 6.60. OFW. will 6.60 pro-b10 run on it? is it able to play ps1 games?

  • @isawrosetta Hey man, the CFW should work on all PSP's. Feel free to try the CFW update out, but it is possible that the CIPL flasher won't work on your model. As for PS1 games, you will need to look up a POP loader for that.

  • @HolmesInFive thanks alot. sure permanent wont run on e1000, but i'm fine with fast recovery CFW.

  • Thank you so freaking much man!!

  • @GTRaZoR22 haha glad I could help! enjoy the homebrew and backups!

  • why does my psp 2000 freeze whenever i do anything after installing the 6.60 cfw updater?

  • @drunkenfruit no, nevermind... my old cfw was interfering with everything lol...-___-

  • @drunkenfruit Haha oh ok glad you figured it out!

  • Ok the CIPL flasher says it does not support this model. My PSP is a 3g PSP 3000. Please help.

  • @Kes3469 Ah damn. Sorry man this is unfortunate but the CIPL Flasher doesn't work for your model. This only means you need to run the CFW update every time you turn on the PSP from a complete power down. Only other thing to do is wait and see if a new update comes out with more compatibility.

  • THANK FUCKING GOD YOU EXIST!

You are the only person after three days of searching helped me do this :<

For that I'll be telling everyone to view your stuff!

  • @SalladSupport Haha glad I helped! And thanks for your help! =D

  • @SalladSupport No worries! Enjoy the backed up and/or downloaded games haha.

  • Yea man. Great video, works great.

  • @louiestreet1 Glad I could be of help!

  • now playing nice video

  • @UnisChaos Thanks! Glad I could be of help.

  • REcovery menu......

i dunno cuz i never tried cfw PRO...what i have now is Me 1.6

  • @TheMegaboy111 sorry I'm confused lol is that a question or a statement? The recovery menu is opened in PRO-B9/10 by either holding down the R trigger on boot, or going into the VSH menu and choosing recovery menu from there.

  • @HolmesInFive

Where do you go to put games what site and what folder do you create to drag those games?

  • @wiredboyruler I am not one for supporting pirated games, but a quick Google for "psp ISO's" should help you out. The ISO's go in the ISO folder in the root of the memory stick. just click and drag them there.

  • @wiredboyruler

where would i find root? sorry if it sounds stupid or anything but im still a kid and i need help man

  • @wiredboyruler Oh no worries. The root of the memory stick is literally the first page you come to when you open it up. So when you plug in the PSP, and go open to view files, BAM, thats the root of the memory stick. Just make a folder called ISO (has to be capital letters) and save your games in there.
