Sorry about the miss label. Both Icebreakers were down there that season and I just got them labeled wrong. I even have pictures with both ice breakers in the same picture. One taking on fuel and the other one breaking ice in the channel.
Thats not the Polar Sea. That is WAGB-10 the Polar Star. See the 10 on the bow and stern. I was stationed on her from November of 1997 untill June of 1999. Brings back some memories.
Really? my dad was stationed on her for operation deep freeze 02,03, and 04. he was the DCC. have you heared anything about her? last i heard she was having engine problems.

That's the Star not the Sea! WAGB-10. I was on Her for Operation Deeep Freeze 98 and Arctic Summer '99.
