Its like saying that a 20 Megapixel camera is 100% superior than a 10 Megapixel. Without testing the 10 MP (with added optimized features) may take better than the 20 MP.

Watch comparisons of an iphone with other smartphones and you will see the difference.

With the upcoming iOS 5, iPhone 3G is no longer capable of handling the new software, therefore it will not be upgradable to iOS 5. BUT thats a 4 years life, in terms of hardware/software until it is finally no longer supported.

@Themoviewatcher96 jailbreak it, search for it in youtube. You can do much more with a jailbroken than whatever Android can. Get free apps, customize the entire UI, if you want you can make it look like Windows Phone 7 or an Android. Can you do that with an Android? Nope!

An android phone can change most of the look and feel right out of the box and once you go into the android market, you'll find that there might not be as many choices as on the app store but most are free, and the all all kind of free music downloaders, home launcher that can look like iOS, WP7 and more customizable ones. All this without having to hack.

@thatguy0810 BUT in reality, iOS still have more apps that will work with any iphone model, even an iPad or ipod Touch. With android, apps are not guaranteed to work with your phone because of TOO MANY variations. Calling a superior market leading phone to be "weak" is a fantasy.

Plus, with some Android phone, there is no chance of upgrading to the next version of Android, they are stuck in that version until they buy another one. Android phones get obsolete as soon as they are released.

@abzvinny318 - I have to disagree. IMO iPhones OS is garbage. I hate the lack of freedom on it. However Android still has a long way to go in many departments, but it feels like they are actually trying to constantly improve while Apple just pretends that what they release is an improvement. The iPhone 5's OS will make the decision on what phone I buy next.

WP7's bing app is hurt most by this. iPhones and Android both support google from the homescreen on both, and the usual search button on android, out of the box. Customizable, but google nonetheless. WP7 doesn't support even the current gen google mobile site. IE mobile 7.5 isn't good enough. IE mobile 9 should be though... At least I hope, my mom uses WP7 and its weak. :( Apple doesn't have a search engine, microsoft does, that's what I'm saying.
