I have a 520 HP GTO (same car). complete suspension mods included. That said, those Monaro's (same car) totally destroyed the clutch and brakes for this video. Totally, and utterly.

How did he do that at 1.21?

he has the handbrake on, reving the engine with the clutch out, then slowly lets the handbrake off a bit each time he wants to move the car foward. Then he gives it all it's got toward the guy and completely dumps the handbrake and turns to dodge him. Really easy to do in an auto but takes a little bit of practice to get the clutch work right in a manual. Top driver though pulls it off perfectly and makes it look awesome.

In the UK they are Vauxhall Monaro VXR's. If it were Australia they would be Holdens, etc.... All part of the GM family. It is the VXR stunt team. Google Monaro VXR if you still have doubts.

Excellent car control at 40 secs. The noise in the arena was AWESOME!!! You just gotta love a big V8 soundtrack.
