Guys please advise i just bought a korg d1600 mk ii digital mixer and was wondering do i mix my tracks on the mixer without a pc or would you recommend i connect it to the pc and mix the tracks on a pc based software instead. if i have to connect it to the pc how do i link the pc based software to the mixer? and do i add effect to the mix both on the pc and mixer or do i just stick with the pc based software because the mixer has a few effects built in..please reply.
ey!!! i liked the video. it was very informative and actually i was even thinking about a rode mic but the nt1-a. i googled around and i read is prefered for rap vocals... i also was recomended the baby blue bottle. in terms of mic pre amp i bought the true system p solo... i was looking forward to the avalon but too expensive and due to the fact i am only recording my vocals not a band... overall i think is definately to much for my level maybe. do u have any input and recomendations? thanks!
I've seen a copy of this. Don't bother! It's 99% waffle with no real substance. For example the section on recording acoustic guitar ........Don't put the mic too near the guitar and use a very expensive mic if you have one. Thats it....The secrets of the pros must be too secret to pass on to beginners.
