I think that Coldplay should make an album with only all the perfect B-side songs they've made! Cause I like some of the B-sides more than the normal album songs. I really love this song, it's one of my favorites. If they'd only read all these comments... maybe they would make such an album! :)

as much as I like Coldplay, I have to state that IMHO, the lyrics in this song are rubbish. More's the pity for poor GHiuonmtaenrach who's going to get a lyric from this song tattooed on himself.

I love their work from Parachutes and A Rush of Blood but since then, they haven't challenged as they should have (music-wise). At least their older stuff had edge, reason and was pleasantly different.

I may agree on your first statement, but with all do respect, I'll have to disagree on the second. I'm only 17 years old and Belgian, but I'll do my best to explain :-)

I think they HAVE challenged with music after AROBTTH and Parachutes. Maybe XandY was a fail to the critics but they really faced new music on their new album. They tried a ritmic song (Lost), They tried some sort of an African swing (Strawberry Swing)... The Goldrush, Death will never conquer and Dubliners idem.

Mate, the atmosphere will be amazing at Hampden. Look at their performances at Glastonbury in 2002 and 2005 and they were simply awesome! I went to the SECC gig and it was fantastic!

Yu can flip over some cd's and it has some secret songs on it. This is one of those songs. They aren't that common because it costs the bands alot of money to do. Only bands with wide fan bases can do it. Flip Parachutes over and try it out.

the term b-sides come from vinyl singles flip it over and you might find a gem.i just discovered this song when i got the clocks vinyl one of coldplays best song love the guitars.other great b- side bands are suede,oasis and the verve worth checking out.
