My black history. I took the time to study it. I even took night course in it. Who in the hell gave xzibit a degree in black history. Please tell me what you think is simular. I agree. Just another craze or fad going around...and honesty, no matter how "childish" it may seem to anyone...I must admit, some of them are funny. I myself have never done it, but who am I to "knock" the person next to me that does? History in slavery or not, enjoy life...planking is just another silly (funny) way to do just that.

@ctlrider actually, there were a number of big-named people requesting folks to stop planking because they claim it's racist. it's as much a waste of time or as childish as telling a joke. it's just something to do to make people laugh. it's not about being "desperate" for fame. folks that are desperate for fame get naked and shake their booties for the camera. ;) i did have fun, and i WAS safe! i'm in more danger of falling every time i walk up and down my stairs. Planking actually means laying down plank boards on a boat... which is why the slavers called they're slave boats plank ships. referring slaves to boards. Planking ships were not funny at all so why is this trend? One thing I do find funny tho is how easy people are influenced by today's trends. No disrespect intended. Blessings!

@JaeTracie Slave Masters taught slaves to hate everything that was related to their original roots... and made them believe that everything related to white people was good... especially the slaves that worked in the house instead of on the fields.. unfortunately.. the slaves that believed the stuff... taught it to their kids... and their kids taught it to their kids... and so on... just because it happened long ago doesn't mean that it is impossible for the beliefs to exist today...
