@pizzaisyummy86 do you follow pitt sports? you obviously do not. palko was a sleeper heisman pick the year after they won the big east.  he was the only reason they beat BC, ND, and WVU in 04. The next year (the year this game was played) was wannstedt's first year. wannstedt, much like now, had a run first philosophy and blew any chance he had at the nfl. if you knew anything about pitt, you would know that palko beat out JOE FLACCO before the 04-05 season. palko then lead pitt to the bcs

We even made a bowl game & almost won the MAC this year after losing our best def. & best off. players! I don't think that means we blow, but you might. If we are so bad, then how do we seem to beat more talented teams, like Pitt? Face it Frank out coached and the Bobcats out played Pitt that night.

I know Ohio got trounced the following week by marcus vick and va tech but still theres a reason why Palko isn't an NFL QB and almost lost his job in college.

Palko was a great QB, but this was a low for Pitt football. OU wasn't very good...ever.

I was at the game in the student section. Rushed the field afterward too. The funny thing is, one play before the pick I was just explaining to my friend that if they got the interception and ran it back, that OU would win.

Could probably find myself in the rush (I was right in with the players cause I knew some of them) if this was HD.
