He's running a brushless motor Bing only thing that it will do is run the battery flat quicker & with the sony cam on there he needs to keep the power up with the extra added weight that will give less flight time but.. Great footage the end made me laugh when he seen the elevator had snapped off "Oh! Shit!" lol

Sounds like you were running the throttle on full all the way...won't that burn out the motor?? I don't know but that's what I think..
