Gears 2 was complete trash. It took five years but thankfully Epic delivered that awesome sequel to my favorite game of 2006. Right now I still consider Gears 3 a legit GOTY 2011 candidate, but we'll see if that's still true after Batman: Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Skyrim and Zelda: Skyward Sword hit.

i dont think gears has changed much at all since 1, i mean really whats changed? maps and weapons. and they say cod is the same, it at least adds features, all this added was weapon camo and horde 2.0, i mean sure its good for gears fans but they did nothing new

i hated gears 1 the only thing cool about it was raam and the krill i wish they would have brought those back they were pretty good and i thought gears one was way laggier then 2 but yeah gears 3 best game ever..... for the xbox lol

@close2silent Well, that's a matter of opinion, but I have both games and I have put over 1000+ hours into Gears 2 multiplayer and about 30 minutes into Gears 1 multiplayer. I could not kill anyone in Gears 1 the hit detection was horrible.

@Ostnizdasht206 gears of war 2 multiplayer was the worst, it's a fact by any and every true fan of the series. i bought that laggy bullshit day 1 hoping to be an improvement over gears 1 but it wasn't. the only thing wrong with gears 1 was being the host bullshit, but even then i'd still rape the host so that is irrelevant.

@TheGamer2323 I'm not talking about the graphics or anything but the gameplay itself. The hit detection was HORRIBLE in Gears 1. 2006 or not, if a game has bad hit detection and lag.. it makes for a very shitty multiplayer experience.
