This is the Victor III, the big brother to the Victor II, and smaller brother of the Victor V. The Victor V is a march larger Victor talking Machine. I assume that the deal (trade) was not consummated ?
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE; also often known as the Elks Lodge or simply The Elks) is an American fraternal order and social club founded in 1868. It is one of the leading fraternal orders in the U.S., claiming nearly one million members.
It has an interesting Label with a profile of JMC in a prominent spot, and his signature is embossed in the run-out. I would venture to say, that every BPOE member who attended the convention received this record as a keep sake of their Convention held in Boston.

I bid on this in an ebay auction and lost it. What a great record! Hizzoner could have given Edgar L. Davenport a run for his money! Thanks!
