So no, Gaga can't do the exact same songs in the exact same ways--Kelly's voice is huge, good for big, soul songs, whereas Gaga's voice is more classically Jazzy. Both girls are amazing, there's no need to hate. See: Gaga's performance with Sugarland for proof of her vocal abilities. If you're going to hate someone, hate Katy Perry because her success is completely unwarranted, w/ her weak voice

Thank you for this great collection. I honestly didn't remember Kelly giving such consistently strong, outstanding performances. I mostly remembered the (fine, nice) song she sang upon winning, and hits since. What a talent, and yes, so lovely, SUCH humility and humor. Remember this was the FIRST American Idol, how intimidating Simon would have seemed to newbies back then, and the whole process. Now we are used to it. Way to go Kelly! :)
