Flash sprite film tutorial Part 3

i tried doing this, it didn't work because the image was up side down in pint but i flipped the picture upside down and it worked

Should each character have their own Layer? or should they share a layer?

Goku has his own layer

Effects should have its own layer

Text Should have its own layer

This way you won't fuck up your animation like so many others have....

@untoldkiller123 Yea i figured that by messing up my 1st one xD. But now i have anothwer problem. I finished an animation but when i want to make it into a video it only shows the first sprite of each symbol. It wont show Ichigo or Zoro actually swing the sword. Any advice?

@assyrianmike08 I wouldn't mke everything into a symbol, save the file you have now as it is. Make a new project and do what you did with Ichigo and Zoro exactly the same but only a certain scene not all of it lol see if like ummm... the symboled sprites appear but not as symbols.

Really awesome video but if I put it in to the video it goes all different places instead of making a straight line to the spot I want it to go. I can fix it but takes a long time. Any suggestions?

If you are using Adobe Flash CS5, use Classic tween instead of motion tween. It will save you a lot of grief.

So it is better to use a movieclip for moving chars,then Graphics.

sorry! i know what the difference between a KEYFRAME and a FRAME is! i just put "frame"... you're very thorough in your explanations, so i'm pretty sure i can understand what those two things mean, lol. anyway, i just need to watch the video before i stop commenting because when i finished my symbol n went straight to the scene, i thought i did something wrong.. you shouldn't get so mad at your pupils sir :(

never mind, i was able to move it once i did the f6 part. does having adobe flash cs5 have anything to do with the reason why it won't play if i export it?

@whydoitypethisinlol *facepalm*...NO! I explained in the very beginning of this tutorial that a MovieClip does not play on the stage it only plays when you export. Also dude i explained you have to make KEYFRAMES! Not regular FRAMES, KEYFRAMES i explained what the difference between a frame and a keyframe is!

I did everything you have done so far but, when i go back from finishing the symbol to the scene the symbol won't play. It stays as one frame only, even when i export it, the symbol doesn't play.. any help?

@whydoitypethisinlol oh about that i can help you there on the grapic tween find the place where it spales ''first frame'' and pove it to loop or play once ones it's on loop it will continue and ones it's on play once it'll play the frames only one time. get it?

I need help. For some reason, I don't get a little cross to put the animation and When I'm done putting all of the frames in the animation, I can't press the back button like you did, it's not clickable as in it's shaded out. I'm using portable cs3 btw.

@EXHellfire A lot of people watched the old ones, they might feel the don't need to watch the new ones. But it's just the first day, and it's 10 videos, there are comments spread on them all. Even on my old tutorials some parts in between had very little views/ratings/comments.
