  • is it sad that no matter which ff I play I spam bahamut?

  • Is there any level requirment? It says I dont have enough exp and im lv 38

  • Please don't kill me, please don't kill me!

Oh man, you're so hilarious! xD

And did you see where that Toad spell landed? 4:47 to 4:48. Lol

  • fire boys r like djiin

  • his yays are getting less enthusiastic lol

  • HC, your sage...HIS THE POWER!! :)

I love the Sylx Tower theme, very nicely made for a NES game

  • I really like the music for Sylx Tower; it sounds a lot like the Temples of Fiends(in the past) music in the original FF I.

  • I usually only have one ninja and sage. I like the challenge. :)

  • I personally prefer to keep Knight, M. Knight, Shaman, and Warlock. It makes it more challenging.

  • Two ninjas and two sages..... Not really eye pleasing.

  • in the remake the sage was compleatly trased. its soooooooooooooo slow. the ninja is good tho

  • when they remade this game they thought"you know, the original was too easy"*sets to RAPEOMGDONKILLME!! mode*

  • its not hard. its more chalenging.

luckily there is a 3 monster cap

  • for some reason at that point i always keep a knight in my party... even if i have ninjas which are better fighters...

  • seems a bit cheesey using two ninjas and two sages...

  • hc...

  • Luckily those mages (Kum Kum in DS-version) aren´t hard in the DS-version. They often don´t get any time to hit me, and when they do they often doesn´t damage me too much. The Red dragon is a fuc**ing pain in the ass though, it kills me 1 hit KO. I hate those dragons, they are impossible! (At least the red one...)

  • I was following this and ran into red dragon and got a onion sword the first time...XD it was so cool

  • why did u buy an ice book for your sage?

  • the ninja's look like they are wearing pyjamas in the overworld

  • anybody else notice that alot of the harder enemies look like the main enemies from future FFs? Like how platinal looks like Golbez and Amon looks like Kuja

  • how about noticing that it said ninjas can equip any weapon but what about onion gear?

  • The Qumqums are the reason you can't solo level grind the Sylx Tower, at least in the DS version.

  • Yes u can. Just kill everyone but the bluck. Just make sure to only attack the (DS name) Kum Kums when he summons them, ONE AT A TIME.

  • aint it called the crystal tower?

  • That's it's DS name. AKA the new name for it.

  • The Qumqum enemies are a joke in the DS version. Probably about the only enemy I've noticed to be toned DOWN for the DS version.

  • I believe 2-Headed Dragon was REALLY toned down in the DS version. No longer does he deal damage in the ludicrous region. His damage was still powerful (about 1800-2000 in front row, no Protect), but much more manageable. I suppose it was because he can attack twice, and he would be nigh impossible if he had his original power.

  • *sees the Qumqum enemies*

    Oh god, THOSE FUCKERS. ARGH.

    COMPLETELY. RUINED. MY NINJALESS. RUN.

Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate.

(I attempted to beat the game without using the Sage/Ninja jobs and the damn Qumqum enemies were my bane - they would either kill me with Brak2/Death or kill 3 party members...I never did beat that game.)

  • where is sylx tower

  • its the last dungeon and in both versions of ff3 the sylx tower look like a giant sword coming out of the earth

  • the sage in the remake has almost no mp charges

  • Team:

    Ninja

    Dark Knight

    Summoner

    Sage

    I

  • Is it worthy enough?

  • Wow... the damage output was vastly increased on the DS, despite the deletion of attack multipliers, defense multipliers, and the reduction in basic "Attack" rating of most weapons... my Thief, Ninja, and Knight were all 9999ing those KumKums at levels below 55 with the Attack command (Thief was even in the back row). Thankfully, IV was truly remade true to its original difficulty, so repeated hacks of 4K+ with the best weapons won't kill some basic enemies in the final dungeon. Good games.

  • yup, I wanted to point it out somewhere, but compered to NES, although bosses have more HP, and can attack twice a round (as well as some stronger monsters), job are bit over powered, so I wonder if DS remake is harded because of boost monsters get, or easier thanks to stat boost for heroes. (I personaly think second option, compared to what I see in Bailly's videos)

  • Most monsters in here are just clones of past bosses you fought before.

  • I would have gone back out to the Airship and rested again after getting hurt that badly that early on.

  • The airship is behind the labyrinth.

  • Ah, yes, my bad. Amazing how forgetful I can be sometimes.

  • Plz tell me anyone, is there anywhere in the DS version you can buy Genji equipment? I didn't think i'd need a ninja until now, so i sold all my genji equipment, plus masamune(bangs head against wall ten times). any way loved the vid, i never had such trouble in the DS's Sylx tower. And by the way Zenosword, QumQums(or kumkums in the DS version) CAN cast spells. they're just retarded and don't do it often enough to make it challenging.

  • umm buddy hate to break it to u i think u cant buy genji srry

  • Just an FYI, never sell a sword called "Masamune" in any game unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing. ;).

  • I'm back to where I was before I restard I got all the class(I use a knight,a ninja,a devount and a sage)

  • "Oh God, OH GOD!"

    What an awesome first minute!

QumQum's name always amused me. I view it as having switched gender for the DS version by becoming "Kum Kum".

Please excuse my juvenile sense of humour :P

  • Hey its just a good thing he got Bahamut to get off XD

  • i dont have to woryy aboutem healing itemin the ds version the duplication trick in battle have the item u want in the top left right slot and press up and a at the same time but warning dont do it often i herd of people lossing there save file from it

  • man, this game just looks tough.

  • awesome video as usual.. quick question though. if you were to equip, say 2 eldest staves, would you get the bonuses of both staves or just 1?

  • you didnt explain the ninja and sage jobs

  • Ninjas can use any equipment, and Sages can cast any spell.

  • i meant with the stats and MP for sages

  • Short, sweet and to the point XD

  • That was explained in the last episode!

  • The DS version nerfed a lot of things. The ninja can only equip light equipment (except the genji equipment), and can only use dark sword and boomerangs. At least they can throw any weapon, including arrows.

"QumQums" are also nerfed. They can only use physical attacks, or summon Muks. They are ridiculously easy, and since they can summon an unlimited amount of monsters, this is a better leveling spot that Bahumut's Cave from levels 70 and up.

  • Every game is made easier when Squeenix redoes it. Except FF4 for the DS, that is.

  • Well, it's probaly just me but I find all of the old FF games especially for the SNES hard for some reason

Any FF game for any sysmte except SNES I can beat

I worship you for being able to do this!

  • Keep up the exellent work! ^o^

  • I Still Think Your Awesome! {Check Last Video}

  • I like how it tells you all the bonuses when you equip something. I don't think it does that in the DS version, unless they try to tell you in the description.
