  • Aww wow I forgot about this one. I remember I use to love hearing him say, "If anybody asks you, you belong to Prince". lol It was my favorite part of the song. I would imagine that he was talking to me & wishing that I was his private joy. Thanks for the memories....

  • It was 12-20-1981. I was at this show. Me and my dad was walking out when people started yelling we want Prince, we want Prince. Prince came back and did Private joy and Jack you off!!!

  • this is great, wish i coulda seen prince back then. but i did get to see him 3 times at the l.a forum! shout out to the young prince fans O(+>

  • Remember when he used to wear the RUDE BOY button??? the good times last forever!!!!!

  • Thank U so much 4 posting. I lov it

  • AWESOME... this was the era of Prince's music that changed my life as a teenager in High School (in Detroit)! The band I was in back then played all of his and The Time stuff, and we were STARS at school (mostly with the ladies!!!) Great memories...

  • Could u please post jack u off if you have it? I've never seen that live version

  • @maurlin1999 I uploaded. now u can see.

  • @gabbyzchannel If bootlegs have over 20 years.. why not ?

  • Prince at his best!!!

  • @JMPRHM Damn straight, his peak was at the very begining. 1979/1982.

  • What? Prince don't like Dez showing off? What the hell is going on? LOL!

  • if this concert was before june 1981 he was 22 years old and if it was after he was 23 years old this was 30 years ago...wow! i prolly was at this concert depending on where it was i used to go to all his concerts back then and tickets would sell out in minutes. of course there was no buying tickets online but it was fun camping put in front of the stadium to get prince tickets. do people still do that these days?

  • fuckin love this song

  • i don't care what anyone says, whenever Prince played a concert in houston, the camera shots were always PERFECT and close up

  • This was the sound that inspired a generation of Black Rockers and Afro-Punks

  • In my opinion. Dez was the best guitarist to come out of the Prince camp.

  • @TheQuikSex so true

  • @TheQuikSex I think you might be right. From what I've seen Dez was the only person who Prince allowed to perform guitar solos live on stage other than himself.

  • He use to call it revolutionary rock n' roll back then, this is some serious old school Prince right here, pure genius

  • A hell of a guitar solo by Dez.

  • Aw dammit, what was the next song on the set. I will forever wonder...

  • @shujikotaro next song was `Jack U Off'

  • i hope he plays this live again one day. I love this song.

  • classic!

  • Wonderful! I get to see him play one of my fave songs live!

  • The jacket that Prince was wearing in this performance was the same jacket Lisa wore in the "Automatic" music video.

  • absolute magi\k!!
