Let me offer my perspective since i listened to both versions and actually like covers better than originals when done right.

Big Tymers-rappers that can't really sing but try to anyway. And that's the beauty of it. The beat and the verses help elevate the whole song into some extremely cool parody.

The Devil Wears Prada-Well the chorus was good, but that could be because that was literally the only part of the song that I could recognize. I detest the screaming mumbling style of singing.
