Video games saved my life. All through out high school I played Guild Wars and WoW. There could of been multiple situations where I could of been in the streets with some friends smoking or drinking. I was offered plenty of times; however I refused, so I can hear this song and enjoy playing a video game with my good friends.

I remember the Henchmen Stephan (?), the warrior that ran into hords of killer birds (what's their name?) and died instantly... or the funny levl 16 groups, that tried to take the short way from the mountains into the desert, or the guys who made the Taxi^^ i and sometimes i still hink about a good skill combination... wtf? Aah, the good old days of Guild Wars. Back when the game was fun, and that's why people played. Before it became a home for piss poor elitist and worthless title farmers. Back when there was an actual spirit for fun competition as well as adventure and community..I miss the old days.

@C4RB1N it's five years now, when i quitted. I came back four years ago, and quitted again. And today im still thinking about it, find pictures and old songs i wrote for my guild^^. Must be some manipulation of the brainstructure... dunno. Or it's really this wonderfull spirit that never will come back.

I really miss my old gaming mindset back when I used to play for the fun of it and didnt care about the rewards... now I cant seem to get that mindset back I cant seem to play unless im trying to get a good reward I just really wanna go through pre ascalon and factions again having a good laugh with old friends but that probably wont happen the good old days are over my friends just wish I had a chance to re-live them

@dfwm20 I completely agree with you! I want those days back too. The game has become all about rewards since they stopped releasing campaigns. Everyone's finished all the storylines by now, so they just want to improve their chars stats. I only started playing when factions was released, but back then every single mission outpost (including the prophecies ones, when I got it half a year later) were packed with players. Shame those days had to end. I stopped playing because of it.

Where you took your time to level up your character, it was harder to make lots of money, the green weapons were the best, and you had to play with people because the henchmen were stupid and the monk (Alesia i think she was called) spent 8 seconds to resurrect and did't give a damn if the others were dying xD

Factions was good too. NF ruined it with the heroes, people stopped playing together and starting playing alone.
