Concerning being a Mark III:

There's nothing of the Mark I (A1) but the sheet metal, seals and glass. The bay, firewall, floor pan, interior, electrical, motor, AC, drive train, etc....are all Mark III. In a nut shell, an entire fully running Mark III was taken apart and welded/installed into the A1 shell.

As that's the make it was given off the factory floor, Vw Caddy. In America it was called the VW Rabbit though due to people assuming it was a cadillac. People often just call them Golf Caddys now to confirm what it is.

Hell my V5 for my Caddy lists it as a Vw Golf Caddy.

It's a Mark III GTI 2.0 8V transplant with a T-3 Turbo. The rims are 15" DRAG, pretty light weight, and look great. You can find an entire thread on the Caddy on Vortex.
