what a load of unscientific crap,98% dream on we are a very long way from apes, although we come from animals we are very different. And the Book is not 2000 years old,it was written by men about 1700 years ago.
It took loads of effort, but my favourite parts were voicing "Lawkins" and doing the music.
Did you notice that when religion is mentioned, I use dark ominous music.
But when science is talked about, I made uplifting music!
It's a loving spoof of Dawkins' "Root of All Evil?" - a terrific documentary [with his fight with Ted Haggard as the main event!] - and the documentary genre as a whole.
PS. I was inspired by the Grand Canyon when I visited the USA for my sisters' wedding.
@jazzx251 Yeah I was wondering about the desert theme, haha. But it's great it works. I think that's one of the secrets about subconsciously influencing people, with the ominous/uplifting music at the right times.
Thanks for taking the time to watch my video (appreciated!). I really enjoyed this! I am so amazed at the bullshit I used to believe, out of convenience. Faith didn't appear to be convenient, it was mandatory.
The thing I hate about religion and politics is that you cannot convince or change a person when they think they know something. People are stubborn and we cling to what we know. It has to be realized by the individual in a moment of stillness.
.. so what I'm saying is, we have full-on Pastors and Pentecostal Youth Leaders here on YouTube (and not just one of each) who are giving their stories of deconversion. It's like they took God as far as he could go, and found nothing there.
The clarity with which they speak shows they are not at all confused in any way.

@HeyRuka "It has to be realized by the individual in a moment of stillness." That's very interesting. It leads to the question: how do we get religious people to this moment of stillness? If we can do that then it will change the world.
@farvision People have to realize first that they have done nothing wrong, or at least are not inherently evil. Empower people with pride in human nature. The first thing religion convinces people of is that they are evil, bad and vulnerable in order to want salvation. Next is challenging one's beliefs at the most fundamental level, their ethnocentrism, their world view, and trying other perspectives. A basic anthropology class doesn't hurt.
@farvision Also, humans create laws and morals to live in societies, to co-exist. MOST of these laws generally make sense; not violating the property of others, etc. This is natural. Religion teaches unnatural laws, and teaches that they are ordained by God. People need to realize the difference, but it really takes an open mind and the willingness to learn.
When people realise that we don't have horns and a tail and aren't secretly sacrificing babies in our spare time, they might get an inkling that an atheist is just a normal person with a different outlook on the questions of existence.
There's room for the softly, softly approach - and also, the no-nonsense Hitchens/Dawkins "you believe in a load of rubbish and here's why ..." approach.
Great work. Well said and explained. Any how, can any one explain. Where did these laws of nature came from ? In other words, who wrote these laws ?
I am asking t,his question with positive spirit and please Keep in mind I am not "believer" and puzzled by this very question. Will be great if any one could provide an answer with hard evidence

Unintelligent design? Just stop there.. what a delusion...

@bogan182
It's because you "just stop there" that you have no clue about how millions of years of evolution can create the illusion of design.
For your first ever lesson, please actually watch the film.

It's 98.5% actually.
A chimpanzee has very minor differences to yourself.
(Pretty obvious)

Also, this video deserves more attention. I can imagine the effort put into this. I will recommend this :)

Thanks for taking the time to watch mine!
You made my day!
I disagree on the convincing people thing.
It may seem at the time that these people are "unconvincible". But when they go home and reflect, things can happen - and HAVE happened.
I am a connoiseur of deconversion videos - not having been religious myself, I find them fascinating.
How does one escape such brain washing from birth?
Time and again, the videos say how arguments on YouTube helped them out of the mental maze.

Well - exposure to nice atheists is a good start.
Both can help someone escape religion.
