  • Hi! I tried a new natural shampoo ''LIVE CLEAN''. It's 98% natural. I dont know if you can find it where you are but I really liked. Try he one wih argan oil its very moisturizing!

  • Exactly, The hair products from Thailand contain a lot of coconut oil. That is a super trick. I use coconut and aloe vera all the time. Asians know some things.

  • I think it's extremely important that vegans are aware of the importance of supplementing with B12 (although there is often deficiency in meat eaters too).

Depleted soil and digestive systems means it's harder to make and absorb. Stress affects the digestive system also. Raw fooders who have maintained high raw for years may not need to supplement and it's best to check with a blood test. B12 deficiency causes irreversible damage including hair loss.

  • Cal Ben here, all natural and cheap, great stuff.

  • have u tried soapnuts for hair?

  • I know that many already know this but what changed my skin and hair to soft and silky was getting a high quality shower filter.. Chlorine is not only a serious poison, but it drys out your skin and hair.. The day I got my first filter was the day I fell in love with my hair.. It has natural shine and body now and it stoped falling out.. You will be amazed at how little shampoo and conditioner that you need to use as well..

  • @alohaumi8 What brand of shower filter do you use? Where did you get it?

  • @alohaumi8 What kind of brand are you using for the shower filter? Thanks!

  • @alohaumi8 What kind of filter do you use ? Where can I find it? :)

  • @alohaumi8 i went to my country a while back, in cuba, where the water contains natural salts to keep it um,... clean but no chemicals like clorine... when i took a shower in cuba my hair was so soft and silky and it wasnt dry like it always was here in usa after a shower.. my hair retained some natural oil even after spending a while in the shower thats when i realized that clorine fucks with our hair cuz ive tried endless shampoos but always have dry hair aloe vera gel/castor oil helps me...

  • Cal Ben soap is good

  • Alba makes all natural shampoos and conditioners in America :) you can order it online if you don't have it in the stores where you are

  • You should try Lush's hair care products, most of their products use all natural and organic ingredients. They have different products for different hair types too :) Oh, and I have dry wavy hair and using virgin organic coconut oil on the ends every so often really helps moisturise my hair!

  • You are a wise woman ;)

  • Aubrey organics have excellent shampoo and conditioner products stick with the vegan lines though

  • i believe olive, tea tree, and jojoba oil are all powerful benefactors for hair and scalp health.

  • Would you consider skipping the shampoo? I'm a curly haired girl too, and eliminating shampoo is one of the best things I've done. It's completely transformed my dry, coarse hair, into strong, soft, shiny hair. I use conditioner only to wash my hair (any natural brand will do). It does feel strange for the first 2-3 weeks as your scalp adjusts, but after that, your hair will be absolutely amazing! You can google the "no-poo" method for more info. Hope this helps! Thanks for all your vids :)

  • Vatica and Ayuuri hair care products are chemical free.

  • You should try Lush products- I think that you'll like them. They're all natural, handmade, and they use less packaging. They have some great body butters, bath bombs, bar soaps, and solid shampoo bars. The solid shampoo bars are really fun- I have the cinnamon and jasmine scented kind. I love Lush!

  • im going through a bad bout of depression latley and yes your hair can fall out due to mental health and im also on the lookout for more natural hair products

    great video :)

  • @lizvandort666: yea, i agree. Vitamin B12 is an excellent mood stabilizer & has been said to provide a lift --- but people sh/ ask their Dr 1st, espec. if one has high blood pressure.

  • @VeryHappy2bMe hmm i may look into this, thanks :) i also bought some St.Johns Wort yesterday so i hope that will also help me with my moods.

  • I really like Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap, it's 100% natural. I love it my hair is soft and clean but not stripped. You should try it!

  • @sippingflowers

    love it too!!!!!!!

  • @sippingflowers

    i love it too!!!!!!!!!!

  • Washing the hair once a week is fine! I'm always amazed when I hear that girls are washing their long hair every day, so much waste of time!

  • what about Morrocco Method

  • @HealthNut71 whats that?

  • i wash my hair once a week & wear a silk cap on my head

every night (it looks like a silky shower cap)

which prevents any dirt from getting on my face

& also prevents my hair from getting all tangled up

  • @kawaiinails cool! where can i get a silk cap?

  • @bulabula80 you can get them from many pharmacys...probably even places

like walmart...or you can try beauty supply stores...typically found in african-american hair product sections : )

  • Aubrey Organics would probably be perfect for you-- all natural, not too heavy, and perfect for dry, course hair.

  • I agree! The GPB conditioner is my fave!

  • nice vid!

  • I watch my hair in cooled chamomile tea makes it so soft and smell good too.

  • I love your hair Nat and the way your hair curves sooooo nice

  • The Desert Essence Organics Coconut shampoo works for me - it smells so good! I also have the conditioner, but only use it from the ears down. I know that Desert Essence also has a fragrance free version, but I've never tried that one.

  • @vikushka007 i love desert essence products

  • have you tried carols daughter, hairobics, miss jessies, etc. check out these sites that are geared towards natrual healthy hair. i'm all natural and like natural products as well, and i use black soap for everything :) check them out. oh, and for deep conditioning i use natural mayonaisse (sry wrong spelling :)

  • @finesweet01 oh and oyin handmade :) great company! when you purchase, they include candy in the box:) married couple that have youtube podcasts. Check them out.

  • hey Natasha ! by any chance, do you use a natural highlighting technique of some sort? :)I have heard chamomile & lemon juice can work to bring out natural blondness. thanks for your wonderful info. <3

  • have you tried black soap?

  • I know how you feel, tried many natural methods that do NOT work.

I can recommend TIGI ECO-FREAKO conditioner. most of TIGI (bedhead) lines is FULL of chemicals but this line called LOVE PEACE & PLANET is NOT :)

I have put the list of ingredients and analyzed on cosmeticdatabase and it is very low 2=no chemical. Another great thing is that they sell it in large bottles, great value. Can find at some trade secrets or order online (also if any1 near toni&guy salon can get there).

    It works!!!

  • Good to know you have your 10 day juice programs often :D Can't do it for this month but can't wait to join in soon!

  • wow, I wash my hair about as often as you do. =^-^=

  • I recently tried Dr. Bronner's Magic Shikakai soap and rinse. I have hair almost to the bottom of my butt and hard water, so I was VERY skeptical, but it actually works pretty well. The citrus rinse is VERY lemony so I use the unscented soap. AFAIK it's all organic and fair trade, and I know it has no preservatives. I will say I do have to wash twice a week with it instead of just once.

  • I really want to juice fest with you all. Getting on that right after Labor day cookouts might be a bit painful for the first day from all those rich labor day foods;)

  • Try Anita Grant's products.

  • try weleda or dr.hauschka natural German products

  • Hi Natasha! I've watched all your videos this week! Thank you theyre great. I tried to make my own shampoo using... castile soap, water, olive oil and essential oils, I was all exited about using it but I dont like it : ( it made my hair really dry and strange. I tried just using the soap with some water to see if it was just the castile soap, it was symilar but not quite as drying which seems strange? HHMMMM! Thanks again Em

  • I have thick, course, dry curly hair, and I am still looking for a conditioner. None ever work for me! Any shampoo works, though. And I can get away with shampooing once a month, too >.< And just the roots, not the length.

But nice tips! I also use coconut oil, and it helps.

  • Very True DON'T WASH you hair max one as week, washing you hair often just DRY it . since I do that me hair is more healthy and I don't need to cut it often

  • Desert Essence Organics are awesome

  • Thanks. Do you have a video on where do you get your B12 from? I heard spirulina b12 is not well absorbed. I'm only eating 2 eggs two to three times a week and sometimes I'm nibbling on meat. But I don't particularly feel a lack of energy actually it improved since I started to take so much fruits and veges and listen to my doctor. But I need to know if I'm missing B12 and where to get it from natural sources.

  • hi i just wanted to know if you knew anything about the recovery of a torn meniscus without surgery?

  • @cuzifeelikeit I tore my meniscus a couple of months ago and was on crutches for a few days afterwards, but I wore a brace for a few weeks afterwards because my knee was so week. I just got to the point a couple of weeks ago where I could cross my legs again but my knee is still a little weak. I haven't done anything though, I'm just really careful about how I walk on it now. I haven't had to have surgery on it

  • @moshlove5 thank you so much this really helps because my mom tore her meniscus and the doctor wants to operate and he didn't want to explain anything all he said was "don't worry you will be alright" which i don't think is a sufficient explanation for a surgery of that kind. Did you visit a doctor when you tore your meniscus? if so what did he say? thanks
