matrix vs ego is like apples vs oranges. its all personal preference. spool vs poppet in the end. shoot them both, decide which you like better. personally, i like poppets and having an lcd board so i would take an ego

i know bro, im on the same boat as you. i just got a 07 ego, only a nic on the tip of the barrel for $525. anyway, i like poppets cause of there slender size, easy to maintance and the ego grip is so good, i wont shoot another gun. the spools are not efficient, there to quiet, and no lcd is a pain.

would have like to get more communication info like how the snake, mid, or back player has specific codes or what would they say differently. or the best way to initiate set plays instead of saying "ready 1-2-3" which never works. they vid cam lens had some distortion, his barrel looks curved upwards like a wang.
