  • oh.. she's to competetive for her own good if the didn't see this coming.

  • you know when I saw the title I thought degrees of freedom...too much stats in my head.

  • @GreayLady thanks a ton or the upload !!!

  • @LunaticMina Hi there am a big fan of BC books, was wondering if you could tell me of a few good sites where I could read/download her books for free, would be very thankful for your help

  • Well said...I agree entirely

  • I love all these chocolate box films. Gotta admit it. I don't care they're a tiny bit naff. Sod it. I need naff sometimes. Especially when there are no damn gentlemen in this day and age, only tossers who read 'Nuts'!!

  • @TheGlassbooks SMH!

  • I recorded this off of tv when it was on vhs in 1992 i loaned the tape to a friend and forgot about it and then it was never returned. i thought it was called something else and just came acrossed it again, so glad i found it , i rellay love these kind of movies. I read and collect historical romance novels i have over 200 so when a movie is made all the better. thanks for putting this up.

  • Blooper alert! At 7:19 Caroline takes a few coins out of her heavy-looking purse and deposits them into the maid's hand, only to take off leaving the purse and the rest of its contents behind.

  • Lord Riversby looks like Hugh Grant in Sense and Sensibility

  • Thank you very much for uploading the movie! I've been looking for this for SO long!

  • Thank you SO much for sharing. Barbara Cartland was my inspiration as a teen...and I appreciate being able to see a movie from one of her books! Peace! :0)

  • Honestly, I think this is the best of all of the Barbara Cartland films. it had what the other two missed. And the actress is wonderful as Lady Caroline, as in she feels real rather than some over dramatic innocent.

  • @AnnieBanana978 yeah but this book ''duel of heart''..tells the story of the daughter of Lady Vulcan...who happens to be Serena ! and of course she married Justin Vulcan... ( from her book turned in movie - hazards of heart )- So Carolyne ..is actually ''lady Faye Vulcan'' and the plot is the same as in the movie except for some details that they took out...and her parents *serena and vulcan* who show up a couple of times in the book ! --which you can find online for free!

  • @LunaticMiNa Oh and P-S Don't worry for serena...she is quite well alive...and still lives in complete harmony and love with Justin..LOL as if barbara for once did not want to''kill'' the mother of her heroine in her book..

  • @LunaticMiNa What? Could you expain all this coherently, please? thanks!

  • please, do you have the subtitles of this movie?

  • Copied and pasted text right off IMDB - or are you Marinella?

  • this lord riversby kinda reminds me of hugh grant.

  • il faudrai un sous titrage merçi d avance mon anglais est nul

  • Hollywood is not the same anymore. I miss the good old days when there were no cell phones.

  • I love it!!!

  • is there any barbara cartland movies here...i love hazard of hearts and ghost in monte carlo...

  • @frivoller Plus anything that GreayLady has uploaded.

  • @frivoller The 2006 Jane Eyre movie is really good. I recently saw Little Dorrit, and loved it. It has Mathew McFaden in it from Pride and Prejudice 2005.

  • @frivoller I agree, it can be so hard to find new good movies in the Period Drama genre. There are never enough! :) I recommend Wives and Daughters as well as The Scarlet Pimpernel. Lousia May Alcott books/movies are also good: Little Women and The Inheritance. Hope that helps.

  • she would have made a great Eiwyn. , Miranda otto's benefit. tooo bad she was preg

  • Thanks for uploading these kind of movies. I've been reading lots of Regency romance books and really had a hard time imagine the time and place of this era.

  • 2:18 - 4:00 It's almost like modern day "speed dating"

  • These dudes are absolutely gorgeous! First Lord Vulcan, now Lord Breccon

  • @hilaryrules91 I love Lord Breccon more, so flirty, charming, and smiles more for someone who technically has it worse than Vulcan.

  • @hilaryrules91

ok. i know it's been two years since your comment but I've just seen Hazard of hearts - LOLOL

  • I love these movies!

  • Does anyone know...in wich times this movie is set? What year, or at least what part of the century?Thank you

  • Regency (early 1800's).

  • These movies are set during the "Regency Era" or roughly 1811-1830. Hope this helps!
