  • Arrangement wise, I don't know if this is your only piece or not but you should try get some single-line stuff in there. It keeps things moving and it displays your time feel and general technique.

  • @qead0828 I'm at UNT as well man, just not in the music department yet! This was actually filmed in one of the practice mods in the Bruce basement.

    It's not my only piece, so I'm not too worried about that :) This is my chord-solo ballad. I have two other standards I'm going to play as well.

    About the tone, I'm going to use my better amp if they don't provide one. This was my crappy tiny amp, whereas my big practice amp has great tone.

  • Hey I'm a current UNT student and some tips for you assuming this isn't your last take. You should definitely try getting a better sound. If it takes having to borrow an amp/mic that's what you should do. With your current sound it's hard to hear any subtleties in your playing.

    I was going to mention not filming on your bed after your first take but it seems like you took care of that.
