I noticed Mascot is starting to succumb to the plastic joint cracking that has been widely reported on the last few lines of Bionicle sets because of the new mold format they used on the connectors. This causes the joints to not only crack but in doing so makes them very loose and even gives the possibility that the whole join could snap off. just letting you know that LEGO can replace them if you call about the broken parts. my friend did and got his Hali Mahri parts and fixed her right up!

Hasbro and Takara/Tomy should make a deal with Fans Project and Crazy Devy to rerelease all of the figures with their upgrades and the comics. I'd like to have Magnus released with his armor and proper single missles with the spring loaded missle launchers like in the G1 toy, Prime with his Trailer, Bruticus with the new Blastoff and Swindle figures, Hot Rod with his trailer upgrade, the G1 Constructicons, The Airelbots and Predaking with their upgrades. But, Saddly that will likely never happen

I'd also like to see the Warbot Defender with the repro lables get an official release as Springer, Hasbro and Takara would make a fortune off of releasing these upgrades offically and perhapes they could fix the problems with the Crazy Devy upgrades so threy can release all of them in a special "Most demanded" line. But then you'd have a over $200 Classics Prime with 2 trailers, the G3 trailer and his DIA Comander armor and I would skip on the armor since the colors are fucking ugly as all hell

It still amazes me how well designed this add-on is. It'll be interesting to see how the Masterpiece looks in comparison with this. Although I like this trailer more than the Masterpiece due to the "Kooky Tank" mode and the armor that snaps on to Rodimus, even though I have neither a Rodimus nor the Protector armor and most likely never will.

This really is a great set, and the armor really improves Hot Rod a lot. I do find that, while the trailer's homage-y nature is cool, it doesn't really do a whole lot. The tank and battlestation modes don't do much for me. I may be in the minority on this, but I much prefer the way FP handled this in the City Commander armor where you just have one part left over from the trailer and that single bit turns into a gun. A huge gun, but it's more usable than the battlestation is. Just my 2c.
