I love Disaster movies very much no matter it's big blockbuster or Made-for-TV movie. This film was very weak even for TV level and the acting was wooden. Category 6, Category 7 and Storm Cell were much much and much better films

in case of disasters it is always better to live in countriside. or just as simple as losing the electricity, in high towers you can not move, bathe, sh*t or whatever... in the country you can take water from the well and potatoes from cellar:). also for the pandemias, in the crowded cities the probability to catch the disease is times higher than in the country. people, go live in the country:);). and in the case of tornado climb into cellar..haha

However the film's specail effects, acting and vauge storyline were not great. my video: "NewYork City F5 Tornado Documentry" Is more better than this film since it has real tornado footage, disaster elements from "ID4", "Day After Tommorow", "Deep Impact", "Armegeddon" and 9/11. when you watch it you be amazed that a 22 year old Arkansas man can do a better job on the subject of New York City Tornadoes than the people that made this film

The movie was interesting, to say the least. I don't blame the effects, though: tornado special effects are hard to make (and probably very expensive), let alone the best-looking ones. The one thing I find most illogical is that these "deadly whirlpools" manifest as tornadoes made of freezing stratospheric air. When air descends through the atmosphere, it actually heats up. If this movie's events were possible, the tornadoes would probably actually be burning hot.

Twister, which was made over 10 years ago, had better effects for tornados. When I saw this movie's fist tornado, I bursted out laughing... it was that cheesy.

What they mean by that is that New York City has had 4 Tornadoes since 1950. One hit Bronx in the 1970s, Another one hit Queens in 1985, Another one in Staten Island in 1990, Another one in Staten Island in 1995, Another one in Staten Island in 2003, and finally the F2 tornado that hit Staten Island and Brooklyn in 2007

Of course this movie is fiction. It's a science fiction movie INSPIRED by true NYC tornado events of 1974, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2003 and 2007!
