Martha was already playing at breakneck speed throughout the movement, and yet when she reached the penultimate section (which is marked Schneller on the score) at approximately 5:07-5:16, she did just as Schumann ordered by accelerating even more and yet keeping an impossibly soft and even tone. Her incomparable ability for prestidigitation just drives me to tears. Totally awesome!
