@Goodywagon damn like those four songs: loser, Althea, Peggy-O, and terrapin are outstanding, and so aren't many other dead tunes but I love them tunes a lot!
@Myrna4Loy Thats crazy talk. We have the best and most diverse music in the world. Turn on the radio and look at your music collection. American music is #1.
@Myrna4Loy That has to be the most uneducated comment I have read in a while. Yes I guess Germany is known for their great music huh? Go listen to some more David Hasselhoff, he is a legend there:) Again what a stupid comment.
@Myrna4Loy This band is outta this world man. you really do have to listen to it with your heart to appreciate it. like really man. Not all of us are the same man, that is a sweeping generalization. There are many terrible people all over the world, you just gotta search for the good ones and befriend them before it is to late. These were some amazing, "people". Jeeze, open your mind.
this is unbelievable! I have this concert on CD, I had no idea it was on video. Thanks for posting it...maybe the best "Loser" ever! JG is from another planet ....what a treat ...the Peggy O is unreal also
we all know how many classics this band has. but would anybody reccomend more that are specificially like THIS ONE??? ??? is it me or is there just something about it??? ???
@333Hille yes I wish I was there too, but I was there 3 nights later in Virginia. Check out William and Mary 2nd set. Similar energy but more intense...Best Not Fade Away I can find . Great Morning Dew too.
May Jesus Christ bless your country and its people and our people and all people over the world
No, dude, it's Donna Jean Godchaux, at that time she was married to Keith Godchaux, the piano player for the Dead. Google her & Keith for their history with the band, and afterwards. She's back in music now, for some time, after having been out for many years.
Just simply amazing - like Jerry said one time, "just crackling with energy." Great Stuff-awsome-thanks for the post and a great show-dope-thankx for posting SBD!
Nice one! Thaks for the post and the great show. I am so hooked on the '78 stuff. I am also not above begging...anyone holding onto anything like this...please don't boggart! Pass it on!
One of my favorite versions of Loser. The band was so polished at this stage of their career. Absolutely love the jam in this song. Garcia's guitar sounds so, so sweet, and Keith adds some great backing work on piano. Perfection.
A real treat to see all these tunes. This is #9, set one. Garcia has some trouble with his solo; the second run is a little more on target. They recover nicely in the chorus.
Are you kidding? no comments in 4 months? There aren't as many deadheads on YToob as I thought. Great upload SBD, thank you for all of the nice videos, cheers to you my friend.

@talkingducksrgreat There is just something about most of their songs haha. Especially when played like this, but as far as similar mentions:
Althea
Peggy-O
High Time
Idk I really love most.
Terrapin does it for me everytime.
