Uyghurs against laws & policies of government, but fight not with government but with ordinary people in the streets. And thouse beaten people are not responsible for their government, because China is not democratic country. You can blame US society & people for war in Iraq, because without their support government couldnt wage a war. But in China people decide a little.
But I think that during the unrest in Xinjiang Uygurs were wrong in beating & attacking Han Chinese, because it hasnt been done for independence of region. It was just act of expressing rage. Not ordinary Han Chinese on the streets are limiting Uyghurs rights, but Chinese government. And beating Han Chinese in Xinjiang who are not responsible for Chinese Governments policy toward Xinjiang is totally wrong
I understand fear of Uyghurs to lose their culture, language, heritage. I support them in the struggle for human rights, rights to learn their language & practice their culture. But I do understand Chinese people, who do not want their country to fall apart. Because I know how it is painful to know that someone took the land of your nation. You can say that it feels like someone cut your arm.
