@Ghlan Return of the Living Dead is one of the best movies. It was intentionally comedic by the director to contrast with Romero's social commentary themes (Dan O'Bannon didn't want to step on Romero's toes).

It is interesting that the Tarman costume was covered in gel, so it was actually quite slippery. In the scene where he takes on Suicide (search youtube for "best of tarman"), he is sliding on the floor and the actor is struggling not to fall.

Actually zombies have a lesser brain and digestive system, just most of their body is undergoing rigor mortis so the digestive and neural processes they have would be very limited. For examply, the brain they have relies on basic instinct: eat, sleep, and maybe even fuck, I'm not sure on that one. They wouldn't get high because they don't know what anything is. They just know the difference between food and not food. Of course raw flesh is its food.

I don't know who's zombies your talking about (sounds like Mr.Romero's) but in this film it states that the zombies eat brains because it hearts to be dead NOT basic instinct. In RotLD part 3 it shows that the "fresher" zombies can even try to resist the pain. These zombies are far more intelligent.
