It looks like there's no way to automate the modulation amounts in an Ableton Live clip. For instance you can modulate SyncPit (the osc sync) but you can't automate its modulations (such as SynchPitchMod5).
This would be a GREAT feature to add to synth squad because the tone you get from sweeping the modulation amounts sounds even more interesting than just sweeping the amounts themselves.
You can do that with the P1 and P2 modulation controllers, or if you're using the synth in Fusor, use one of the eight Macro controllers as a mod "via" scaler on the mod slot. Hope this helps!
